Well, he was hailed as our best bowler of the summer and how tremendous he was, but I find that ridiculous.

Great showing in Perth but did very little in the next two Tests - 2 wickets in Melbourne and 4 in Sydney - and took just two wickets in his three ODI appearances.

How is that a tremendous summer? He actually took as many wickets in the first innings in Perth as he did in his next five games.

Now, I still believe Mitchell is a great prospect but has he come of age yet? No. He is over-rated.

100% agree with you, but we all know he will get a heap of wickets against the Kiwi's and Wanker's like Nicholarse and Healy will continue to spurt their load about him.....

I didn't say take him out of the team - certainly not with the injuries the side has had - but he hasn't performed as 'brilliantly' as many have suggested.

Johnson has been the best Aussie Bowler this summer by a mile he still needs to improve. He looks pretty poor in the ODI's at the moment though. I'd like to see him try to become an all rounder.

Yes no doubt we missed Clark more than we would have thought and Brett Lee has fallen from grace in a big way which not many predicted would happen. Aussies are in all sorts.

I've never really rated him, but he does have a knack for getting wickets off some ordinary balls

Getting wickets from ordinary balls not working for him in the ODI arena though, was is surprising seeing that is where they are more likely to attack those balls giving more chance for slip.

Johnson is not as good as some would like to make out but I think he deserves a touch more credit around these parts. Sure he gets wickets off wide half volleys but if he continues to take wickets doing it wouldn't it be good bowling because the tactic continually works..
