His Origin career will be extended due to a great win.
I thought his game was passable in all aspects except for his kicking game, which, as a half, is pretty important.
He is lucky that the forwards were so dominant.
A closer game in the middle and his kicking game could have cost his team.

He did another play worthy of a gif tonight, in the first half with numbers on the outside he second-guessed himself and did a nothing grubber, turnover to Qld. Hayne's face and reaction said it all.

He wasn't the second coming of Andrew Johns and did not outplay Cooper Cronk, Thurston or any other famous QLD number sevens but the man was decent. A few good kicks, a few bad ones but he came out of it all with a try, a line break assist (Pass to Fifita who set Maloney up) and a solid defensive record.

Don't understand the hate although the people who do hate probably would have preferred Adam Reynolds or Matt Moylan at halfback...

Great inside ball for the first try.

Great backing up to score the 2nd try.

His long kicking eas outstanding as always. Found the turf and hit Oates in good areas with the defensive bombs.

He also defended well and fired some crisp passes out to his wide men.

He wasn't great. He rarely will be at this level because he ain't Joey or JT. But he was very solid and can only get better.

Only a numpty with a serious vendetta would suggest that he was poor.

His short kicking was abysmal - geez just let Maloney do it.

Does he deserve to be dropped? No
Is it sad there isn't someone better? Yes

All that first half domination in the forwards from NSW was wasted by his kicking. Shockingly we get a dropout once he goes off....
