NSWs outstanding attacking game against a crippled QLD was something to be admired this year.

You got some problems there, an absolute moron (Sutton) that should not be allowed near the field. Reynolds who can bust a fuse and choke just as easily as have a decent game, but your biggest problem is something you can't fix and that is no longer will you get the leg up penalties that your team is used to and the biggest reason that you are in the 4.

No we don't have problems. Sutton is a strong ball runner and will probably play 40 mins in back row looking for the occasional offload and putting the occasional kick in. Sutton just came back from a medial injury and obviously he was a bit rusty and had to be rushed back into the halves as Reynolds was out.

Sutton will be better for that hit out and he can be very effective in the finals. He is a very good leader at Souths and him being on the field lifts the team.

Keary will be 6 and Adam 7. Reynolds will be fine in the finals and is maturing as a player. Pearce could have a bad game as well when the opposition pressures him and things don't go his way. He kicks the ball dead a lot as well under pressure and gets away with forward passes.

Penalties is not why Souths are in the 4 your completely wrong. Souths defense has been better this year, we have some great speed out wide and are not as predictable with what Keary adds.

I would be worried if I was a Roosters fan that last night Pearce peaked too early, you have judiciary problems and give dumb penalties away which could cost you in big games and possibly lose a player to the sin bin. Also you guys are the team to beat so opposition teams are hunting you guys. Everyone say oh the Roosters will win, GOOD because I'd rather Souths be underdogs.

Also you are starting to get injuries at the wrong time!

Lawrie will be praying for an injury to the Dogs plodders so he isn't stuck with the "never change a winning team" mentality.

He'll be wanting Pearce and Soward in for sure.

I'm a Mitchell Pearce fan, sure he's never really played well at SOO level but he's a damn good club halfback who has tonnes of heart. If Roosters win the premiership I'd give him another shot for the blues maybe even at 6.

Should have never been changed after 2011. We'd be celebrating 3 on the trot if the selectors had been clever enough to stick with that combo.

Pearce was sensational on Thursday night.

Knock on ?, you are kidding me. Like most $ouff$ supporters you are still living in the past and have no concept of the rules of today's NRL.

Speaking of NRL and living in the past..........quite amusing from the person with the Bears avatar.

Good club player.

Shit Origin player.
This. People who doubt him at club level are kidding themselves.

But he's proven to be a complete failure at Origin level in every game he's played. Hodkinson wasn't great in any of the games but he completed the game plan which was give the ball to Hayne and he didn't get in the way like Pearce does.

You are kidding about Hodkinson. He is the ultimate mediocrity, lucky to be playing for an NRL club. Shows how few quality half backs there are if he can make Origin. Had Pearce not got into trouble in Kings Cross, then no one would have ever seen Hodkinson in a blue jersey.

Called for the ball, saw a gap and took his chances which saw NSW wrap up the series. It wasn't Hayne. It wasn't Gallen. It wasn't Farah. It wasn't Scott. It wasn't anyone but Hodkinson; he made that call and it's quite clear it's significance isn't seen by you because you're not willing to even consider the idea Hodkinson won NSW the series. Give me one defining moment in Mitchell Pearce's Origin career that won NSW a simple game? Find me a moment where Pearce stepped up at Origin level and produced a crucial play.

Unfortunately the reality is; something that you and most Chooks fans refuse to admit; throughout his time at Origin he has NEVER once stepped up when the team needed him. I personally rate Pearce highly at club level and always have but he quite simply never was and never will be an Origin star.

And Reynolds looks good with Burgess, Inglis and Walker.

DCE looks good with Foran, Lyon and Stewart.

Cronk looks good with Smith, Hoffman and Slater.

If your argument is that he's made to look better by the quality of players around him, well then you can apply that to everyone except Hayne.

Mitchell Pearce is showing the form that will make him into a legend. Watch how he takes apart opposing defences in the finals series. Come grand final time people will be rating Pearce as one of the ten best Australian scrum halves of all time.

Yeah that's the worst of all arguments.

All that says is he doesn't know how to differentiate.

SBW didn't help Pearce chase down Inglis.

Credit Pearce, he played well.
