Lol @ these Rorter fans defending their intentionally ill disciplined team. One day the referees are going to grow some plumbs, put one of your guys in the bin and then your whole game plan defending on your line will go up in smoke.

Hows that going for you

We've actually had that happen a few times the last 2 years, and don't think we've ever struggled with it if I can recall. One particular moment was JWH getting sent off and we still held Manly off at Brookvale.

Pearce showed blazing pace and great defensive skill to run down super star Greg Inglis. His attacking game was sublime -- great support play, penetrating line breaks, and astute field kicking. He is entitled to be considered in the same group of star half backs as Daly Cherry-Evans, Cooper Cronk and Shaun Johnson.

If State of Origin was to be played next week you can be certain that Pearce would be picked well ahead of the mediocrity Trent Hodkinson.

Inglis is on one leg you idiot. Why do you feel the urge to make a thread every time a thought pops into your head? Is it because those moments are precious due to their rarity?

Yeah, let's drop Hodkinson for Origin, the man who scored a try and converted the goal in Origin 2 bringing the shield back to NSW for a drop-kick, woman groping tosser who's failed at Origin after umpteen chances.

I can't wait for the Roosters to get eliminated from the finals just so you'd STFU! Crawl back into your cave, troll!

If evere there was a pperformance worthy of an origin recall, this was it.

Do the right thing Laurie. You know it makes sense.

I've been really impressed with Pearce's performances over the last month. He's become the form halfback in the game. Set up all 3 of Easts tries last night, and saved a deadset try with that superlative tackle on Inglis.

I'd say its a given.

I can see the fanfare and hoopla as Mitchell stands up on stage with fellow inductees John Morris, Braith Anasta and Ben Creagh.

There won't be a dry eye in the house.

The Immortal concept has just about run it's course. In ten years it will be known as the Soward/Pearce hall of fame.
