so hardly, i just know a bad game when i play one. The thing that the consoles have over the pc in terms of FPSs is the ease of getting into a game. Trying to get into a decent game of Black Ops on steam is like passing a kidney stone.
Don't get me wrong, give me a mouse and keyboard any day, but raw computing power and control preference has no bearing at all on what makes a game good. And ARMA2 isn't.

OT: Forgot about battlefield 3, that looks killer, just hopes its better than Bad Company 2.

2nd point first. On 360, if you are in a party, you don't play against each other. Not an option on the PC, where the party gets chucked around haphazardly between sides. Dedicated servers are awesome, but not when the server browser locks you out for 5-10 minutes at a time. And it is not just my problem, a few of my friends have the same thing happen to them. 0 servers shown out of a possible 10,000 or so? Or australian servers being shown with a minumum of a 2000 ping? How is that good? Or intuitive? It's not, and it sucks.

The money i spent on that card could buy me 2 360s. In their eyes, how do we justify that? And then elitist douchebags like yourself call others out on the fact they don't have the newest, shiniest system available at a given time. PC Gaming isn't dead, or even dying, but it will when the average joe thinks it costs three grand to enter the circle. Rather than look at the strengths of each system, and if it wasn't for consoles we would have no where near the mass appeal that gaming currently enjoys, or the extensive library, you sit there wishing it was an exclusive club, wanting only dedicated enthusiasts to enjoy the best hobby in the world. The vitriol you spew towards other gamers is shameful, and you owe consoles for most of the top tier games of the last 5 years. Oh, and if you knew anything at all about GPUs, you should have told me to get a Radeon 5970. The GTX 480 outstrips the 560 ti on every benchmark it comes across.

sounds like you are having serious problems, because the majority of us are playing on dedicated servers with no problem and you can swap teams at the begining of a map.. what connection do you have to be getting 2000 ping lol 28k? D:

the servers are filled EVERYday. I'd say you are running another version of the game but then steam should check for updates unless you have it off. If you are on steam I can help you.

lol I'm not having a go at you, but your card. I'm telling you if you can't run a game smooth it is your system. And if you paid alot of money for that card recently then you got ripped off, if you bought it a year ago then fair enough. What mainboard and HDD do you have it might be the bottleneck in your system.

and btw I have consoles that I play almost everyday, but I hate console androtops that talk smack about PC gaming when we birthed most of the shit they play today.

and it doesnt cost 3 grand to enter the circle, you gotta do research and shop around, get the parts yourself and install it. I spend atleast a month researching/looking around before upgrades or putting together a new system.

Yeah, it grabs me for about a month then throws me back out. I just hope there is an option to play only premade classes, because once someone figures out the definite best class, everyone and their mother plays it, and there is no variety. I want something akin to the COD3 multiplayer, with preset classes. But why would actibliz change their winning formula huh?

The only one i can't run smooth is METRO 2033 dx11 on vhigh, but seriously, who can? But we won't have to worry about the gpus we have until the next console generation.

TT you can always ignore people, you don't need to signal for a mod everytime someone posts an opinion different to yours.

In response to the PC > Console argument, each to their own, i personally find it more enjoyable playing on the PS3, but one of my best mates is a PC gamer, no need to gabber on about it, you're not exactly going to change peoples mind about it but arguing on the internet.

Also, MW3 *hopefully* coming out early november along with Skyrim and whatever else will be interesting, but I think it will stack up better then expected, Activision and IW know how to hype people up for a game (i can remember watching hours and hours of footage before the release of black ops). So I don't think the COD franchise is quite as dead as people tend to believe. Especially seeing as MW3 will have the same engine (hopefully) as MW2 did, i miss the smoothness of it (when compared to Black Ops).
