Only put on report because Billy knew it HAD to be in order for it to be a penalty! It happens several times a weekend, Billy knew he's have no case to answer but in order to get the injured player off the field without the dogs being disadvantaged he needed to put it on report as per the rules.....

But it didn't even warrant a penalty and they got a free interchange.

Didn't know that was the rule. I'm sure I've seen other penalties this year for suspected high shots that haven't gone on report.
Surely it doesn't have to be on report. The match review committee could pick it up on Mondays anyway, couldn't they?

It's whenever somebody looks like they're hurt.

Tackle goes "on report" because that give a free interchange to allow that player to leave the field.

Poor refereeing really.

OK, thanks.
But Billy had a look at it. Surely he could see that it didn't warrant a report, and if the match review committee thinks otherwise, they can charge a player on the Monday?

That is true Suity but because the player was down injured obviously Billy felt sorry for him and because he hates us he didn't care if it would harm our chances or winning......

Can't wait to hear him defend it on 2sm tonight!

That's how it "should" work. The same thing happened last year when Michael Luck basically headbutted Fui in the chest. He got knocked out, Fui placed on report, and the Warriors were given a free interchange. I really don't get it, the rule was put there for a reason to not disadvantage sides who copped an injury in a high tackle, know refs just hand them out even though it wasn't the defender's fault they were hit high.
