There has been some major fallout from their fan base over this signing. Many fans remember the shoulder charge that ended a life of one of their players in Q-Cup and have called out this signing. If Francis really does have some mental health issues I can't see them improving under that scrutiny.

Geeze if you compare the size of the pack weights and height of dragons with say Cronulla we are way smaller, can someone tell me why Couchman's height and Weight are still not shown on his player profile?

i see another player from the Warriors has sought "compassionate grounds " to move immediately from NZ back to Oz , to join up with the Eels ...
Fans , supporters and the general community are being taken for a ride with with this constant BS
That's why they should just bring in a mid season trade period and be done with it. A draft wouldn't go astray either.

I'm all for a trade window. Where a player can nominate themselves in 2 ways:

1. Open trade - player is open to any club.
2. Restricted trade: player nominated a particular club he/she would like to go to.

Any player nominating themselves, must sign a trade contract (either 1 or 2 above) with conditions outlined, hence eliminating the 'restraint of trade' argument. If a player selects option 1 (open trade) then he agrees to be picked up by any club, to which he/she has to abide by.

If a player is not picked up by another club in the trade window period, they remain contracted to their current club.

A player can approach their current club with a trade request that may include:
1. A direct player swap
2. A loan period (eg: Ravalawa)

Player agents must also sign a 'player trade agreement' (for either 1 or 2 or both as above) with full knowledge their player has signed a trade request document.

The players salary must be continuous with their new club. The new club cannot increase or decrease their current salary (which would be monitored by the salary cap auditor prior to the trade period starting). Eg: player is on 500k with current club, the new club must match exactly, no more, no less. Their new club cannot offer TPA's to subsidize the trade.

These are just my thought on this. I may well be off the planet with my thinking, but 'trade' periods are commonplace throughout other codes. I cant see why one couldn't be implimented into the NRL,which in turn would prevent the recent events involving Molo and even Walker.

All good ideas Dragon slayer however plenty of areas that the less scrupulous clubs(no names, no courtmarshalls) would try to manipulate
