Have to agree. All fullbacks drop the occasional ball, although unfortunately Tim maybe more than average. With Lote gone, Beau is our most experienced winger including his combinations. When, and if we are to gel, combinations will need to be at the fore.

I'll nail my colours to the mast. I'm a Tim fan. I know he has had some serious f@#ck ups,
but he was unlucky tonight. I like Beau on the wing, his involvement is great. I don't want
to see him at fullback.

Shut the f**k up idiot.

Your a f**ken moron. He didn't have a great game but he saved a crucial try. Grow a dick. You sound like a complete tool.

Admit it when you speak shit. Your life will be a whole lot better.

Thanks for that Mrs Moltzen..say hello to Mrs Mullaney for us.

J just think to be able to win big games you need a no1 that has speed to burn and can attack. Okay it helps if he can catch and tackle! Our man Beau is as tough as they come and can catch and can tackle but he just lacks that speed and also that ability to get up in the line and play a no6 role(like the great Hogo). On the other hand when on song Moltzen can do those things. I think we have to keep with Moltzen and hope that he gets his mojo back

Facts:-

Tim dropped one bomb tonight.
MU and Ink have been sleeping with each other for a while and they asked Timmy for a threesome and he knocked them back. They are still butt hurt.

He is just plain shit and has no position in the team to call his own. Out and out cat.
He is in the team for one reason only. Benji wants him.

Despite the hate spat on Moltzen, he can tackle. His catching is dubious, but he has the
makings.

His passing is a bit suss as well I guess.

Are we a serious premiership threat to other teams with a fullback who can't catch? I feel nervous and ill every time a bomb goes towards Timmy. For all his positive attributes, how can the Tigers even pretend to be a threat to the competition with a liability at the back. He may have """only""" dropped one bomb, but that """only""" will lose us games against the top teams.

But its not ''only one bomb'' is it?
Its an ongoing thing with him....he just dogs it whenever the urge grabs him, ala Walsh' try

I think he did really well to stop Lewis's try. I also think he should have played to the whistle, but it was an obvious penalty either way.

Say what you like about McKinnon, but he was excellent under the high ball, excellent positionally, had heart and knew how to hunt up the ruck and support.

I'd take him back in a heartbeat.
Who gives a f**k if he can't tackle....allegedly or has a lack of pace.

He's rock solid.
He was Billy Slater minus 15 yards of pace.

I'd absolutely take McKinnon over Timmy. A solid, dependable fullback who could catch. He was slow but he also hit a few holes when needed. But a pointless discussion as he aint coming back.

While not a fan of Tim, I am not going to put him to the sword.
The guy was meant to be playing half and ended up at fullback cause Tedesco got injured & Sheens had no alternative (there's depth for you). On top of that, last night was his first game back from another injury.
I think the reality of what we are seeing is that we don't have depth to the squad in key areas.
We have no back up fullback.
We aren't exactly flush with wingers (especially now that Lote has gone)
Our centres don't fill us with confidence (Lawrence isn't back to his best & Ayshford looks as though he's gone)
We haven't had a half since Prince (don't start on Lui as he was only a pretender in that role)
We lack serious replacements for the front row. Id Woods or Galaway are injured then start praying. Mason was a no brainer.
Second row & lock are interesting. Ellis is great but won't be here next season. Heighno scored a good try last night but lacks impact these days. Blair hasn't aimed up. Bell gets to little game time and I wonder if he'll ever make the grade compared to an Ellis. BMM plays well but isn't used correctly.
The bench, well that says it all.
We can sit here and crap on that the team should look like this or that but reality is that no matter what team we field, it isn't going to be good enough to reward the club with a premiership with the serious holes in it.. We are a rabble in defence, our attack is sparatic and directionless at times.
I'd love to be wrong but until we build up depth to some key positions we are kidding ourselves.

BTW for all those who say we need Moltzen's attack from fullback, why doesn't he support any other ball runner besides Marshall?
