On the weekend, an Erina player died on the field after collapsing and having seizures. He was pronounced dead at Liverpool Hospital. Clae Webb came from Ballina and just happened to be a mate in the days where we were younger and lived in Ballina together, still occassionally kept in touch.

It is a tragic event and my prayers are with Clae's family and friends in Ballina and in Sydney. He was too young and it is a shock when something like this happens to someone you know; but it makes you realise how precious life is.

Was just gunna say the same thing UTEY.. Saw his photo in the paper today and it hit home just how young he was. Tragic, really tragic.
