Moments that changed the finals

With all the competition rounds pretty much done and dusted, what are some of the plays that stick out that have altered the landscape of this competiton ?

For me 1 sticks in my mind, The Witt kick that Byrne scored off in the dying moments of the game to get the Warriors home over Souths.

Had they not scored that try, the Warriors would not have a home final, Parramatta would, and Souths would not be playing sudden death footy next weekend

Farah's field goal against Cronulla. Cronulla win, they sneak in the finals on F/A.

Well...that last second try would've been the icing on the cake if the f**kin refs didn't screw up in the first-half of that game.

That's a good one, although after leading 18-4 at home at the break, they should've won anyway.

Also, the Sharks lost so many games by so few points.

If Brisbane didn't hang newcastle out to dry, they may have missed out on F/A after today's big loss to the eels.

If Wade McKinnon gets awarded the fair try up at DFS, the dynamic of the Cowboys-Warriors game changes.

If we win that one then ceteris paribus, we finish 3rd.

Lockyers knee injury against the Cowboys.

Hmm...your mob were playing THAT good before his injury, it basically lost the premiership for Brisbane.

Taylor hitting Prince after he kicked, and the Titans losing by a field goal against the Broncos.

Do you mean were or weren't. :p

I thought we were starting to build and sadly injuries just killed our season.

That's footy and it was about time we copped some tough times.

I think we would've had a shot at 3rd if he didn't go down injured but we'll never know.

The game against the dogs at win that we lost, the play when morris threw the ball behind him and we lost. That was our chance to make the top 8 right there.

Dragons would have finished on 22 if they won that. Not in the 8.

 Here we go again.

You try covering injuries for Stewart, Orford, Bell and Monaghan and see how you'd go against the Storm, Eels and Dogs.
