Here is the story... where I work, we had a golf tournament, and between the 5 of us in the golf shop, we were slung 260 bucks for selling the tournament yardage books. Peanuts. Anyway, it has sat there for bloody ages (the tournament was in March), and with me leaving, the time had come that we had to do something with it. 50 bucks each wasn't worth worrying about, so we decided to punt it this weekend and see what we could make out of it. Being the punter out of the boys, I got the task.

A couple of bets Saturday, down 70 bucks, no big deal. Perth Cup day yesterday of course. 5 bets yesterday... 2 winners, and I ended up with exactly my 260 bucks back. Not even a cent more or less :lol:

Time to reinvest today. 3 bets and a 90 buck quaddie. Shattered, had to take one thing out of the quaddie to leave me the money for the other 3 bets I wanted. After tossing through the paper a few times, I decided to leave one out of the 3rd leg, leaving me 3 chances... of course, I left out Crying Storm!!! Quaddie pays 2500 odd. The boys would have loved me!!!

Instead of that, I back Honalee 40 bucks each way and after a full weekend of punting, we end up winning 24 bucks!!!! Hardly worth the effort, but a bit of fun none the less.

Sorry for the big story, I just thought it was funny that all that resulted in a 24 buck win!! :lol:
