Motley Crue have today announced that they know nothing about the Guns thing, and say they are 'confused'.

Has anyone heard the full version of BETTER yet? Sweet holy f()ck was that a shock! Thats some heavy stuff in there, so complex too.

If the second half of Better is any indication I'd say there are a few mental disorders knocking about in the band. Its f()cking nuts!

Is the full version the extended version? The second verse in it is as cool as anything and I love the guitar work.....the chorus didn't seem to fit at first, both lyrically and musically but it has grown on me quickly

Just listened to Better, not bad considering its demo quality, its an ok song but the claim made previously that this is an improvement on the old stuff seems a bit left field, it has nothing on any Appetite songs IMO

9 second clip from 'Catcher In The Rye' leaked......9 seconds is sucky but still, this is more news......this HAS to be a deliberate leaking approach to get interest to build up prior to the album release.....

Sounds ok, still, try to make a judgement on 9 seconds of any songs and you're on crack for sure

Anyone heard the full version of Catcher in the Rye yet? Stunning is the word for that song.

Its Zepplin/Beatles/Queen and GNR moulded into one perfect rock ballad. Perfectly radio friendly too unlike the other songs, which were too heavy in parts to be widely liked by the general public.

roosterbooster1 - I wouldn't worry too much. Axl is parading the demos around to anyone who will listen. He is NOT being very careful about them being heard.These are very old too, estimated in some cases to be as many as 6 years old.

If the rumours are to be believed something has come up which is stopping the press release, which was planned for last week, and which will possibly delay the album release. I think May/June has moved to June/July and possibly November. I'd love to know what the reason is. The only un-sorted issues are the third guitarist question and the legal issues with the old band, which are constantly put back.

Worrying about this album is a complete waste of time I reckon. One day it will surface and when it is on the shelf and physically in front of you then maybe you can get excited. Until then delays, unexpected complications, isnt finished, is nearly finished, is a work of art adn will show you all, delays.....etc etc

I feel sorry for those who are still just drooling over its release date when there has been nothing but let downs. I used to pray for a release back in 1995 or so, since then ive learnt to forget about it, d/l the odd track that pops up and if it ever gets released I may get excited then.

I agree in that I would love to know the reasons for the delays. I think a book stating the reason behind each delay and complication would be 600 pages and a best seller! TO know what goes on inside that crazy brain of axls would be a good read!

ah yes ...

"Catcher in the Rye" is a great track .. I was pretty surprised to find a mix of it in my inbox this week .... after all these years. I wonder who leaked this stuff. Yes, my guitar is there, nice and crisply recorded. It was a blast doing the sessions. I had flown out to LA specially to play on the record for Axl. I've sat on whatever I have or know about these songs ever since that moment .... out of respect for Axl .... confidentiality is part of respect for me. So I will watch with interest. I like the track a lot and always did ... and it still sounds very fresh ... the thing that hits you first is that incredible, incredible voice ... we've been missing it for far too long. Axl is magic.
