More than one million watch All Blacks beat Wallabies
More than a million viewers tuned in to watch the clash between the All Blacks and Wallabies last night as the lead up to the 2011 Rugby World Cup intensifies.
536,120 viewers tuned in for the game live on Sky Sport 1 while the delayed coverage on Prime from 9pm drew 474,010.
In comparison, the first game of the 2010 season between the two rivals which was played in Melbourne on July 31 drew 512,050 on Sky and only 207,040 on Prime. The Christchurch game the following week drew 534,880 viewers on Sky and 345,320 on Prime.
Thats massive for a country with a population of 4 million.
