He will be a good squad member. 40mins against Talakai gets remembered more than the many good games he has played. Don’t want him as a starting player but good depth

Can't say i know too much about him, which is odd considering he's played over 60 FG games

I'm relieved though it's only a years contract. If he's good enough, he'll earn another deal.

BH, what's your opinion on him as a player?
He is NRL level, 2021 when Manly were flying, he was playing great footy, was good defensively and was very good at putting Saab away in attack. He had a rough finals game against Melbourne where they picked him apart which seemed to dent his confidence a bit, and obviously the nightmare 40mins when Talakai killed him destroyed his confidence, he was crook in that game too

Hasn’t quite been the same player ever since, but I admired his ability to get past that Talakai night and fight his way back into first grade, and his efforts for Manly when called back were solid but not spectacular

Good team man, will only see him if there are injury concerns, but he isn’t a bad gap plugger to bring in if those concerns arise

Thanks Beav.. now the shock has worn off, that all makes better sense. A 60 gamer depth signing that (presumably) cost bugger all isn't a bad outcome.

Problem is that pretty much our whole backline aren’t bad gap pluggers…
