Morley's penalty

What do youse reckon?

It was a legitimate tackle, a very strong one, and Walker was slowing and falling as he sought to draw and pass but it is at least careless and the contact appeared to be shoulder on head, judging by the way Walker's head snapped back.

2 or 3 weeks plus loading for his previous history? Does that sound right?

Since when do shoulder charges earn a suspension ?

when the shoulder makes contact to the head, it earns a suspension
i agree that some are over reacting, i mean sending him off? pfft i dont think so, id say a penalty, a few weeks on the sideline would do it, but given Morleys record it will be a lengthy suspension

Are you really that stupid? If it were Soward who got the hit and couldn't play for the rest of the game you'd be screaming for a 10 week suspension.

I thought it satisfied the criteria for careless or reckless and furthermore the following try could have easilly been disalowed (as I heard the commentators say the leadup can now be reviewed in instances of foul play).

should be sent for the whole season and rorters deducted their points for the illegal win.
Jason rooster Robinson sent to the lower grades for the year. A disgraceful decision by him not to look at the incident when it happened.

Robinson was reffing's great white hope when he started but he has fallen into Harrigan's trap of believing he knows what happened without checking with the video ref.

It's fine as long as you're right. You look a right dill when you get it wrong.

i thought robinson was blatantly favouring the home team for the vast majority of the game if we are talking about biased reffing here.

Considering he never learns, life is the way to go. Hoppa got less chances than Morely has to get his tackling right.

Yo blue and white f**khead.

Morley plays a man's game. very hard but very fair....that tackle was better if not equal to anything your overpaid Sonny Bill Papworth has ever done. Do you see Sonny Boy copping life?

Dickhead.

Its a mans game, and we are surrounded by C^%ts. Lets just make em wear NFL helmets and pads now shall we.

Its obvious, the NRL dont want brutal defense winning the Premiership. The rule changes are ensuring Bradbury touch footy teams like last year win the comp.

Its no longer a mans game...its a mans game run by skirts.

PS. Warren Smith is a c^%t hole. He raved all game trying to ensure Morley would get suspended.

PPS. We own Souths.

I believe that according to some on this forum, we should play this game wearing short skirts and crash helmets. Wake up, it's rugby league, not Australia's Next Top Model.

i thought it was just a good solid hit, i was surprised Smith & Daley were blowing up about it so much during the commentary.

Adrian Morley - 3 Dally M points

So it is ok to take people high all the time is it? No problem with taking someone out and seeing him miss the rest of the game? In that case Lamb's tackle in the 88 Grand Final was a beauty then. The fact is Morely is a repeat offender. He never learns. If it was his first infringement then you could understand, but he just keeps doing it over and over again. I used to be a Morely fan and a defender of him, but you can only defend someone for so long. Eventually they have to learn for themselves and Morely has not done so. The fact that he keeps on going high means he will never learn and should be out for good.
