Morris - "No try"

We were hit by the curse of Tony De La Has again.

Hayne was about to blow the try, the touchie didn't call the ball forward, instead it was De La Has, from behind the Dragons play the ball, who tipped off Hayne.

De La Has was also the one who didn't go to the video ref over what should have been the Brett Morris try.

I also personally believe that the penalty against Creagh for the "late hit" on the Manly No.7 was ridiculous. Of course, Manly scored on the back of that penalty.

While I agree that we were outplayed and that we looked slow and flat, the above and a possible Farrah no grounding that I've read about but haven't seen replays of, there's enough here to believe we still should have been able to steal the game with correct rulings.

The touchie did call it forward, he stayed his ground on the touchline were the pass was thrown. Fair call too. And the Hodkinson penalty was fair as his legs were attacked.

Anyway as Bignorm said I wouldn't worry about it too much, games were there are players backing up always favour the home side because it's all about will to win. Top effort by Manly though you've got to admit:cool:.

It might of been a fair grounding, but if it went to the video ref, it would of been disallowed for obstruction.

Soward before he kicks it runs around his own player, impeding the defense.

you will cling to any excuse you can dream up won't you!!!
as was stated earlier, the milkman ran behind another dragons player(probably trying to hide and not get hit) rendering the effort of morris irrelevant.
t-rex had his hand under the ball when 'sore-calf' cooper(i think) tried to score so no try there.
farah's effort was checked by video & showed a wrong read by one defender & smart running by farah.
re the forward pass 'supercoach' said in the press conference after the match that twice they have scored from that & twice now it has been ruled a forward pass- that tells me that the problem isn't with the ref but maybe the runners should get a little deeper so 'the biter' doesn't have to throw it forward. that simple

I take offence to the above post. Supercoach should not be in inverted commas. Even his missus calls him Supercoach.

Nice try at bagging good men [Bennett and Sowie], this from a cheating club with a drunkdriver on the wing, a womanbasher in the 2nd row,a fullback facing jail and a centre renowned for his cheapshots. How much over the cap was your club when you had Orford?
