Morris - "No try"

Not worth arguing with them. I've just been told I'm aggressive/passive - whatever that means ... :)

Benny is perhaps the best Coach in the game and the most respected. Anyone who attacks him just shows their lack of knowledge. Most have never even laced a boot up.

They have been consistent with that rule for at least two seasons now.

Creagh didnt go through with it at all, the halfback laid down like a dog.

We were outplayed on the night, pretty simple. But there is a reason why you blokes do well with Hayne in charge.

Going through with it isn't the point. The NRL has made it very clear that you don't come into contact with the kicker.

I just watched the Morris no try again....frame by frame.
That was a try.
His hands were on the ball, as the point of the ball touched the ground, well inside the dead ball line.

Pause it and go frame by frame and you'll see it's a try.

That would have made it 22-12 with 22mins left.
Then we had Lett's no try.....not saying we would have won, and still think Manly were the better side, but the result could have been a lot different.

A Tigers fan(in the main NRL forum) also stated that Farrar didn't ground the ball for his try, apparently the ball never touched the ground at all, and he was then rolled over.

Dont trust blind Magpie fans.

He could have had his leg taken off and bled to death, could you imagine all the kids at Brookvale having to see that? No one ever thinks of the children.
LOL! Thank christ for that. I thought you were serious for a moment.

Was he attacked?
Was it life threatening?
Was it the end of civilisation as we know it?
And the big one...
Would Cliffy get away with it?

P.S. lol @ 'consistent'.

Nice try at bagging good men [Bennett and Sowie], this from a cheating club with a drunkdriver on the wing, a womanbasher in the 2nd row,a fullback facing jail and a centre renowned for his cheapshots. How much over the cap was your club when you had Orford?

amazing how you can come back with that yet cannot dispute my points regarding the dis-allowed tries:D

strangely my co-workers had no response either

The touchie did call it forward, he stayed his ground on the touchline were the pass was thrown.

Mate, the touchie stopped in line with the pass as it was thrown and then continued running to the in-goal once Lett caught the ball. I remember it clearly cause I was sitting in line with it and my first thought was that the touchie must have called the pass good because he kept running. We started cheering and then Hayne motioned the decision.

Watching the replay online, although the camera changes on FOX, you can see that the touchie starts running towards the in-goal once Lett catches the pass.

That is a try beyond doubt. Gavin Badger is a disgrace!
That match should have been a lot closer than an 18 point margin.

Subsequently (the following week) the Manly were ordinary against Parramatta and The Dragons won comfortably against Bulldogs.

When are the powers that be going to pull their heads out of the sand?
