The comment on Rauhihi is a good one, I have a high opinion of Rauhihi, but when we played them last time the Knights really targeted him and he had a shocker, and as you said they fell apart. I hope the boys remember that from the last outing and repeat the dose. Unlike some I think winning this game is important if only to keep up the winning momentum, a loss to the Cowboys isn't going to inspire us much for the much tougher game we'll have next week. As they say winning becomes a habit.MC DUI said:Morrison out is a big blow for the Cowboys, he is like Kennedy to them
he lifts all the players around him in that team.
I think that they key to Sundays game is stopping Rauhihi, the Cowgirls showed last
weekend that when you stop Rauhihi going forward the Cowgirls fall apart.
As soon as he left the field against the Tigers the Tigers began to gain
the ascendancy and all of a sudden they were the ones going forward.

Kennedy is out of the Knights side, so that evens it up.MC DUI said:Morrison out is a big blow for the Cowboys, he is like Kennedy to them

Oddly enough they both have the same, very uncommon, injury. They have both torn the muscle in the arch of their foot.Tigertread said:Kennedy is out of the Knights side, so that evens it up.MC DUI said:Morrison out is a big blow for the Cowboys, he is like Kennedy to them

The loss of Kennedy is a huge blow, saying that he didn't look likely to play earlier in the week when he was getting around on crutches, I hope he's able to play next week. I don't know which way they'll go now, I suppose Abes to lock and one of the young forwards into the second row. They could experiment with Ennis to 5/8th and Rudder in the second row. bit radical I know but it is a thought.
