pound for pound, I think the kid is already there, I've never seen someone who's been this impressive this far above his weight than Burt in 99 or Sterling in 78..and I agree out of all the Mortimers, Louie was my favourite and easily the toughest.

if I was a betting man I would say that Guru, given his age and dodgy back will be one sacrifised..

INU, will be offered a contract but definitely a downgrade to the one he's currently on.

Daniel Mortimer's signing is good news for the Eels especially in the lead up to Round 1.
However in your charge to the GF last year i was most impressed with Jeff Robson.
It's a pity he is not a few years younger as he would have been around a lot longer.

He's a solid leader rather than a great playmaker. He has some qualities great halfbacks do, but lacks others. As reliable as Robson is he needs a dominant 5'8th to be partnered with for his team to suceed. Having Hayne acting as another dominant playmaker is an asset. There is no way Robson could ever lead a team on his own though.

I disagree. 250k a year for a quality half who can potentially steer us to a premiership is peanuts. Ozzie & Co have got it spot on.

The Bulldogs have an up and commer in Ben Barba. Kimmorely seems to want to play for at least 1 more year. He will show Barba the reigns. They also have Blake Green on the books. I did not expect Kimmorely to hang up the boots yet.
Mateo plays lock doesn't he? I would not expect him to get the nod above Stagg. Stagg has signed a new contract recently for a few years. My guess is that the dogs are interested in KK.

Mate, I have little inside knowledge and whatever I do get is unreliable and hearsay. I do however have a good gut instinct about things and I have had some success with it on these forums. When people were panicking about Hayne I always said that he would stay, the same with Poore signing and Mortimer now re-signing. I even put my money where my mouth is and am willing to do the same with KK and Mateo. IE They will both stay and whoever disagrees with me can also put a reasonable amount of money where their mouth is.
