Masoe is a power player, I remember the showdown with Saffy in 2010 against roosters At SCG I think. However, should only be cheap as he is only able to go for short minutes and gets a lazy IMO. Interesting if Mary and Mulholland see something, especially with interchange reduction.

Agree he can be a bit lazy, Especially around the ruck. Gets caught out often. Damaging with ball in hand for sure but would be a gamble signing considering the interchange reduction. If Masoe is to sign he won't be a bargain though. He left the Riff with the blessing of Gould for good coin with the Saints in the ESL and he also has a nice deal with an Audi dealership as well.

Also has interest from Manly and the Raiders.

If Masoe signs with us, it will make for a great squad of forwards in 2016.
If Merrin back-flips I believe Creagh will move to the ESL to allow enough salary cap room.

No hypocrisy.
You blokes keep saying this but you are dead set wrong.
When Packer offended he wasn't playing for us. He was sacked by the club he was contracted to, and has since gone through a judicial process. Served his time. Is deemed rehabilitated and is now free to move on.
AFB is contracted to us. Should be sacked by us. Can undertake whatever is necessary and then seek a contract to continue his career once rehabilitated.
This was the process that was applied to Nielsen who was contracted to us.
If we sack Nielsen but not AFB then we would be seen to be hypocritical and I would agree with such an accusation. Packer doesn't come into it. He was never under our purview at the time of his offence.

Exactly Bottle. To sack Nielsen and not AFB whose offence is arguably worse would be completely hypocritical.

At the end of the day the club will do what it will regardless of what I think Garvey should have been sacked and wasn't so who knows what they will do.

Addin himself you would hope has shown remorse and is still young enough to right the wrong.

Packer if he gets a contract will hopefully never again commit such an offence again the same with Garvey.

I am for second chances and the Dragons are a club that can provide that.

Would seem like a pretty good buy on the surface, but the question is why has he had so many different jerseys on in a relatively short period of time ?

As I recall, he was granted an early release at Penrith to go to the UK. I think we had got him as a mid-season release from the Roosters ~12 months earlier.
