I have been so impressed with Suli and his potential so far this year that I can't help but feel that something is going to go wrong...( off field drama, injury, gets Isaac Moses as manager and wants out of his contract...)

It was definitely a gamble signing Suli on big money however now it looks like a masterstroke. The kid had played 70mins of NYC yet Craig Bellamy and Des Hasler called him personally trying to get him to their clubs. For years we paid overs for guys with 'potential' and 2-3 years later they were still at the level of when we signed them. It's nice have one of these kids playing to their paycheque so early on.

When you have a look around teams these days and juniors coming through center is really the forgotten position. How many genuinely class centres are there in the game these days? Jennings, Walker, Leulia, Chambersr? Really? All decent first graders but none starts imo. In all likelihood 3 of the 4 origin centres will be guys who don't play there for their club.

Probably jumping the gun but if Suli continues to progress I'll be surprised if he isn't the best center in the game in another 2-3 years time.

Not far fetched at all. Against Cronulla he dominated jack bird in every aspect of the game and bird to me is one of the best young prospects in the game, a grand final winner and origin star.

I reckon he'll play origin in about 2-3 years like you said

Its because teams have this weird obsession with moving their best centre/winger to fullback. I hope he stays at centre, as I reckon big athletic types are much better suited there. Leave fullback to the agile ball playing type players.

Hate him or not, he's played very good for us on the wing except his reputation has been tarnished because of f**kwit Taylor chucking him in the centres when he is not a centres asshole

True.Every man & his dog could clearly c that Kev was a huge liability in the centres yet the dumb prick Taylor continued to select him in the wrong position.

Yes he has done much to redeem himself on the wing but we r in a position financially to attract more competent outside backs than Kev.

Regarding Grace Jones - I think we should definitely retain him as a depth player. His form has skyrocketed since moving back to the wing...it ridiculous that we played him at centre for as long as we did. When we first signed him he played wing for a number of games and really impressed everyone, he needs to stick with it for his own sake.

Regarding Suli - we took a huge gamble on this kid but I think it paid off. If he keeps this up then he will have reduced the sting from losing Addo Carr. Wingers are easy to come by but a classy centre is not easy.
