It will be interesting to watch if there is any impact on them. Spoke to a lovely gent the other week who used to work for the NRL...stated they had allegedly been.spending beyond there means for decades.

Had some interesting things to say in regards to the cap and how certain clubs are streets ahead.re smart operating ;-) etc..He mentioned a certain power broker from a club that he stated virtually runs the game...giving that particular club an incredible advantage...

I began to discuss our incumbent coach and he shut up like a clam...claiming it was all the players fault....

Funny, how some people are not interested in seeing their mates in a bad light.

All has been well although turbulent over the last month...I am sure the same for many on here., thank you for asking. I can't give out to much info...no longer involved in an official capacity but worked for the NRL for quite a number of years...Had many interesting stories....Dragons fan...I spent up to 30 minutes discussing coach and all I can say is it's unbelievable the blinkers people have on...in other words kept contradicting himself...Bennett a great motivator...Current Coach its the players fault...as he is an elderly gentleman I didn't want to be disrespectful.

He even hit me with, gee you really dislike the coach, to which I stated no...my critique is based on results...misuse of players...stale tactics ..It's time for a change...etc...It was like banging your head against a brick wall !!!

Can't say too much more except that some people will still back him blindly. I will leave it at that.

You are not the only one a lot of us no nothing.
Speaking to Freddy and he love him, not a bad word to say.
But let me tell you there is a lot of player who agree with you as well and some who don't.

Correct hazzbeen....He is well liked by many in the game...probably a "Good Bloke"...still doesn't change things like the 1st Dragons coach to have his side kept to Zero points @ kogarah not once but Twice....

The 2nd half of season burnouts....I even quoted from a former member of staff and that didn't go down well, so I just left it at that.

I quoted plenty of valid stats which resulted in "You really don't like the guy ".

So when they cannot defend the facts, it is made personal..

Did we need to digress from this thread? Is Moses Suli coming to the Dragons or not? Comments on how other league ex players and league officials feel about our club and McGregor should be on the Sack McGregor thread.

Quite amazing that ol' McGregor rears his head in so many threads - he must be a terrible person. Hahahaha!

Yeh..I have had enough of being the majority in regards to Mary bashing
It is the minority groups that win out on the day
I am supporting Mary from this day on.!!! That will sure get rid of him very soon.

Agree 100%... problem with ford is, he has Tariq and Tyrell ahead of him.
Unless they play Tyrell at lock and Ford takes Frizells spot.
Kerr will be a really good forward up front with Vaughan.

Not sure now regarding Suli... reports coming out saying he hasnt agreed to, let alone signed, anything with us.

Because he cant...until NRL say they can and sign off on it. and likely whole NRL admin will get a re shape going forward including what spending happens from all aspects.
In fact has Tyson Frizz actually signed a deal with Newy?. The NRL have certainly not signed off on it.

Kerr will be a really good forward up front with Vaughan.

Tyrell is a better pick for lock in front of Lawrie.
