Maybe someone in their advertising agency reads this thread....

The mobile sound at the start has aired a few times again over the last few weeks.

This ridiculous ad with the referee and I think banker singing is so bloody annoying

Mate that advert is exactly the sort of thing that League needs a whole lot more of. i.e. one of Oz`s largest corporations (that isn`t a booze or gambling outfit) wanting to be associated with Rugby League and doing it in a humorous manner and not in the usual boof-headed humour that we get way too much of in Rugby League.
If we are going to progress as a code then we are going to need to branch out into other demographics and associations like the one we have with Westpac now are just the sort of thing we need more of.

I gotta say, I can usually agree with people on here in regards to their choice of most annoying ads, but this one I don't get.
Unless it's one of those ads that seems to be on 2-3 times per ad break?
Or perhaps the fella's voice reminds you of some f**kwit you've previously known?

Regardless, everyone's free to decide what annoys them ... and I'm still happy that I rarely watch enough TV to notice the ads!

I'm on my phone more than I watch TV so it's phone ads that give me the shitesters.
My ad blocker gets most of them but the ones that slip thru are often annoying.
Someone mentioned that the ones you see are associated with what you've been surfing.
So if you are getting penile enhancements and porn ads you are a sick puppy......in my case I'm getting gifs of hemorrhoid removal, prostate therapy, knee replacements, and prosthetics.
