Will he turn up to the awards night or will he send one of those "sorry I couldn't make it messages"?
He should probably present the award.
The Backpacker said:Personally, I don't care whether you wear flannel, leather, Armani or a pink feather boa with high heels, I'm just not that kind of bloke. No matter what your stereotypes say. 8-[

This is the man that had the hide to show his face at Easts leagues club after taking the favourite son Hodge's name in vain and made implications of a tarnished halo all while running out under the biblical colours of red, white and blue. And, while he can be forgiven for his Bulldog salary cap claims, he's due the penance of wearing a warning for the next year, of a blasphemiser of contraversial proportions.
Justin Hodges? Oh yeah, I remember him. That loud mouth Easts player that got a little bruise on his knee so had to sit out for the whole season. Hey, as I said in my article, he should'e been suspended for the season, that injury was just Karma.
It was also claiming that the Roosters should have lost their premiership I think.   And I'm surprised that my latest Andrew Johns is all talk and definitely not the best player in the world thing didn't get a mention here.
And what do you mean by the "good Lord Reynoldson"? I've never heard of him.
The Backpacker said:Say it Lord - Hodges is my favourite player. I'm sorry he was injured by the evil sandcorp turf. Easts were rightful winners in 2002...You can do it.
Go to hell.
I assume that Dragon Fanatic was the one who plageurised their post? If it's a vote for most controversial off field forumer, I'll vote for Dragon Fanatic just ahead of ParraMatt's poaching.
If this is a vote for on-field controversy, well, I've been told I should be nominated for that. DOWN WITH JUSTIN HODGES! (Whoops, I shouldn't say that too loudly, some team-mates may hear me.   But there is always rules against nominating yourself, so I have no idea who to choose if it's "on-field" controversy.
Saddly I agree with you. I feel that nothing he has done has affected the forum sevens. Just ruffled a few feathers (sorry about the pun) over at the cafe district.
And Andrew Johns is sooooo overrated. One day we will all realise.
I am assuming by your comment DvdHntr, that you are referring to Lord Reynoldson's nomination in this post?
Could you please direct me to the section where it says that the person nominated has to have 'done' something to affect the sevens. Whilst any number of people could have been nominated regarding their 'off field' behaviour, I chose to use my nomination to choose someone who was disputatious 'on field'. I am assuming you read every one of his articles this year and obviously have a different opinion to mine as to what you'd consider controversial writing and not. I think, going from what Lord has said at the end of his post, if he was able to, he'd nominate himself for his 'on field' writing. This nomination was in fun, you may have missed the and  by the people nominating him and we are entitled to our opinions and nominations, the same as you are. I don't see the point of making negative comments about other peoples nominations, when this (the awards) are supposed to be all in fun anyway.
I'm not sure if you were trying to be facetious with your cafe district comments but do these cliches really need to be brought into the game of sevens? Assuming - once again, of course - that you were referring to our sevens team, I don't think this is necessary to start personalising these well used, over done and somewhat boreing cliches to a team because of their name. If you want to go over that tired game, visit the appropriate team forums.
Sorry I should have attached this to my post.
Now that makes it all better ;-)
Sounds like someone has had a little too many cups of cino.
But what would I know I'm just a flano wearign derro from the filthy Western Suburbs. Hey we all have labels for each other I personally think I get the short end of the stick.
All of this quoting of quotes of quote of quotes of quotes makes for a long long long long thread. ;-)
