Hardest game I've ever played? Let's just say the s**t below is enough to cover 2 titles, not just itself!
Good shout with TMNT.... that swimming level took so so much skill and a bit of luck
I am actually struggling a bit with the Witcher 2 at the moment... highest difficulty level and its kicking my arse HARD. Trying to fight Letho the first time and I seriously dont survive 30 seconds.
 how???
i remember people were making up shit about cheats and being able to go through doors (which were just part of the background), but it made alot people waste time trying to do it
Toejam and Earl - could never beat the later levels!
As with Golden Axe Warrior II
That's a stretch of the memory. I played it on PC and there was a word or something that you typed to activate it.
Found a gameplay vid of it on youtube. The level is 6:38 in. I'm twitching just watching it lol.

I remember Alex The Kidd In Miracle World being pretty tough on the Master System. One hit and you're gone.
f**king alex kidd. That damn jungle level negotiating all those spikes trying to jump onto the tiniest bits of grass to avoid the spikes was heart attack material. And the god damn second castle that was a puzzle as well and you had to go through the rooms in a certain order..
If you want to get really frustrated, there is a walkthrough on youtube where the bloke finishes it in about 15 minutes
That game is so easy... it shouldn't take you more than 30 mins - and that's doing it properly. I can do that spikes stage for instance in 30 seconds - using the bike.f**king alex kidd. I recently plays alex kidd on Xbox 360, however you could have unlimited lives. Took me over 2 hours to finish it.
Yeah but you don't need the letter, and therefore the slab with the codes on them if you remember them correctly for the last stage.Oh those damn castles... the worst part was that if you missed certain items in the first one you're screwed for the rest of the game but you won't know it until much later. Pure evil.
World of Longplays (YouTube user) plays the full thing in about 40 mins which includes an alternate way to finish the game. It's really not that long...Alex Kidd is the hardest game I ever finished. I say "I", but it was really my brother and me taking turns life for life as we went. We got up to the final boss with no lives left and lost the rock scissors paper match once. Meanwhile even though we were very competent at the game our master system had a serious overheating issue to the point that after a couple hours game play we had to put it up on 4 cups to get it off the table and have a fan blowing on it at all times
