Most difficult games you ever played?

I hate it when you read stats of gaming, how many hours you've played etc... lol - it makes me feel as in it's time wasted I could've spent doing something else.

Meh, I reckon DS1 is about the same difficulty as DS2. Just that all those hours of playing DS1 made me better for when DS2 came along. Both had their share of merkin bosses (Ornstein/Smough and Ancient Dragon, EAD) and areas.

Just about to start the new DLC on DS2, apparently its even tougher lol.

I just think its different difficulty... DS1 is difficult in a clever way, DS2 is difficult in that it throws hordes of enemies at you in waves and limits estus to 12. Dunno, i prefer DS1 but 2 is good fun. The new DLC is tough but my only deaths were to bosses, outside them its not too hard. The first DLC was harder for me.

I love games that are challenging but not frustrating. That's why the GTA series and other sandbox games are among my favorite.

I play on easy, even with hundreds of games under my belt. Never was a fan of being challenged, plus old JRPG save points made me absolutely hate dying, and not in a good way, in a "f**k this game i'm not playing it again" way.

That said, hardest game i've played is a campaign of Civilization 2 on the PS1 when i was 12. Finished it after a good 200 hours.
