Who is the most entertaining LU poster of all time? I'll be happy to set up a tally.
This poster may not even be a friend of yours. You may even detest a particular poster.
What I am looking for is the poster that entertains you most on LU (for any reason). The kind of poster that you cannot wait to see what words of wisdom they type next. Try to type reasons for your pick. I can sum it down to four.
1. Pingu...He is not the most famous poster ever on LU. This guy has not even posted in LU for many years.
Old Wests Tigers fans (before 2005) will know him very well. He had a knack of forming well-timed and effective insults about the Wests Tigers. What made his insults stinging was the fact that there was probably a hint of cold, hard facts within every single jibe aimed at WT supporters. I have a feeling that he may have even been a disgruntled Wests Tigers supporter.
Im a tiger supporter, but enjoyed Pingu's work.
2. Rooster Cogburn...This guy would have to be the most hated poster in the history of LU. No poster before or since has pissed off more LU members than the great Cogburn.
While he posted some quality rants over the years, even Cogburn's poor posting efforts got people riled up. Whenever he posted, he got an avalanche of replies nearly everytime.
What typifies the man is the fact that he basically disappeared from LU at the end of the 2004 grand final. He did not post a word, yet fans were baying for his blood to give him crap after the grand final. They never got that satisfaction as Cogburn's silence left his haters hanging with no closure.
I would not be suprised to see him post again if the roosters won one.
3. CWBush...Probably the most talented poster on LU today. He is the best sledger/comeback king poster I have ever seen. I have never seen him lose a sledging match. He has virtually humiliated many posters with his verbal handgrenades over the years. Cronulla supporters, you have no chance in hell against this man.
He is an entertaining nice guy poster as well.
4. Marshall_Stalin.... I love reading this guys posts. He is clearly an intelligent human being. I'd love to know his background, as he seems to to know quite a lot about his so-called "communist roots".
