It's about Beer!!

My particular favourite at the moment, is Jimmy Squires.
Not the pale, not the pilsener .
The Indian!!!
Blizzardly cold & decapped it emits a tang with the aroma that is enticing & not displeasing, like some of the mass produced chem beers.
When viewed from a shapely beer glass, the reddy amber colour, is perfectly matched to the taste, but more on that in a minute.
The beer obviously has body as the hoppy head is held high for quite a some time, while the gaseous beeds work they way to the top.
On first taste, it will sit you back, as it is a bit different from other beers, with a very complex palate.
It is fresh. It is fruity. It is dry.
Serve it ice, ice cold & enjoy the hoppy, malty flavour with some Indian food. believe it or not, they go perfectly together.
It is also closeto 6% Alc. so it kicks azz as well.
Give it a go!! Today!

This is a crucial thread for drinkers everywhere.

I'll give the Squires a go, btr. I had one of their beers once on tap, I think it was the Pilsener, whatever it was, was rubbish.

The other night me and the lads decided to do something a bit different for the ol' pre-drink, we got a bottle of the shittest vodka we could find, it was called Bronski vodka, cost us $21. One bottle of Fanta and one bottle of Lemon, lime and bitters. Half a bottle each. I followed this up with 6 Cascades (a good beer) and a Smirnoff double black. Then we hit the town and of course drank more.

Even though I drank about 3 litres of water before bed, I woke up the next day with the mother of all hangovers. I blame Mr Bronski.

If you didn't like the Pils, you won't like the IPA.

Did you not like the pils because it was a bad pils ore because you don't like pils.

FYI JS PILS is rated very highly on the world beer stage.

The JS Pils is loveley.

There was a beer from a couple of the Malt Shovel guys a couple of years ago called the Great White Shark.

Very different but very nice.

But for mine it is still Stella

Actually, I dont know if it was the Pils. I cant remember. Whatever it was, wasnt very pleasant.

Yes my vote for best beer still goes to Stella.

Party tonight, I'm drinking Tiger beer because I've had it sitting around my house for ages.

Typically I don't care what brand it is, as long as I have a bag of salted peanuts to wash it down with.

Corona's coloured water.

Anything that needs a slice of citrus fruit in it to give it its flavour is not beer.

Yuk - Tooheys Old. I had that shit in a wakeboarding trip at St. Georges Basin Country Club and it made me crook. It wasnt a good combo of being tanked on New, eating their fried rice drinking Old and then playing Bingo :p
