If you look at the trend, Brisbane wont make the finals as no defending premier has since the 2003 premiers did...

Oh and Tony Carol and Perry are steering them round the park... I'd rather have Steven Hawking directing play if i was a Broncos supporter...

And I hate them

5. Tigers - Kind of the NSW variation of the cowboys. Don't have anyone hateful and are also fun to watch play. The most palatable of the Sydney teams.

6. Melbourne - Kind of drops off here doesn't it? I think they have enough QLD players that they will draw support. However the grapple thing doesn't exactly make them popular nor does their favoritism. Still I think they are more popular than the following teams.

7. Eels - No one other than eels fans wishes them any form of success at all. They are a team of horrible pretenders, offensive heads and chokers. Fortunately they will fail in the finals. Really getting on my nerves this year.

8. Manly - Enough said.

9. Dogs - They are the dogs so go figure.

looks like you have had too many good times with michael's sister kid dynamite - souths the people's champion!!!!!!! - the battlers ??? spare me they are one of two privately owned teams for a start whose owners are certainly not battlers.

Any decent human being would support only one team and one country - but the capitalist way is to "support" who is fashionable at the particular moment in time and then go on to the next THING to support i.e criminal americans are good at this . That is one of the strange things about this country too some one is winning and their australian but when they lose they are from nsw/qld/vic etc.

I will have little interest in the finals series and like last year will watch the so called highlights on the news.

Cancel the finals and lets start 2008

Mr Saab it was a general statement. Don't take it so literally. Times have changed everyone. People don't hate Brisbane like they did.

Given my beloved Dragons can't make it, the only team in the top 8 I would like to win it is the Warriors.
I would be very happy to see them win the big one.
2nd preference after them would be the Cowboys.

I don't dislike Brisbane, but I don't think they will make it, if they did, I wouldn't be adverse to them making it back to back titles....that wont happen though.

I do not want to see Souths win the comp, I admire how they played yesterday, but Tiger_Nick is right their supporters have been a little arrogant with some moderate success in the last few rounds.

I really hope the Broncos can make it but we are going to have to be very lucky to do so. If the Eels don't beat us this weekend they should be shot. Simple as that.

If Brisbane get knocked out I would like to see the Warriors get up. Reason being is they are playing some entertaining footy and I've always been a fan of Steven Price.

The Eels should do alright but I don't know that they will. They still have 'Brian Smith Fever' and will inevitably choke. Will take some time to get it out of them I think. Its a shame cause they do have some very handy players.

Would like to see the Cowboys do well but I can't it happening. They are nothing without Thurston and Bowen and if something happens to one of those players its all over. That said they really can beat any team when they are on their day so it should be interesting. Same can be said for the Tigers. Again can turn it on when they want to but I'm convinced that they will.

I never said they were loved. I'm simply ranking them against other teams in terms of popularity. At the moment they are respected which carries a lot of weight. Also who are their opposition, Manly, the Eels, Dogs. Storm? Teams with no popularity.

Anyone but the bulldogs, eels or broncos and i will be happy. I could even stomach manly winning it.
