Just for your information, Glenn Hamilton has decided to go back to coaching and will be coaching the U16-1s at Cabramatta. He was considering to be involved in the JB at Mounties, but in the end decided he would go back to coaching.

From the Fairfield Champion 12/12/07

THE Mounties Jim Beam Cup squad is well into its training for the 2008 season.

The squad has some new additions to the team, including star of last year's ARL Quad Series Drew Dalton and brother Anthony, as well as Peter Lett from Group 6.

Former South Sydney first grade player Damien Mostyn, Wests premier league's Pat Galea and former Balmain Premier League player Ben Weir have also joined the squad.

Mounties coach Steve Ghosn said he was impressed how the players maintained their level of fitness in the off season.

Three new teams - Campbelltown, Cronulla and Western Australia - have joined the competition, which Ghosn expects will make it tougher.

The team also has some new additions to the coaching ranks, including Matthew Taylor, who has trained the Parramatta first grade cricket team, and Judd Westling who has trained the Wests premier league rugby league team.

Eddie Flahey, the former Parramatta and Penrith star has also joined the ranks as assistant coach, having recently coached the Cabramatta Jim Beam Cup team.

"The addition of these players and staff will give the club a huge boost to the strong foundation we built last season,"
