Movies That Didn't Make Any Sense

No Country for Old Men is great.

The single weirdest movie I've seen is Holy Motors - as far as I could tell it had absolutely no story line. I should have known something was up when I got a weird look buying the ticket. There is one scene where a dwarf thing(???) is eating flowers, kidnaps Eva Mendes, takes her down to his lair, puts a burqa on her and then falls asleep. And yes, the movie got weirder from there. It was irritating how f**king stupid it was.

Shutter Island was absolute rubbish. The revelation was too obvious too early.

The real revelation was in the last minute.

and no country for old men is a classic. theres youtube videos explaining the meaning of certain scenes etc that are worth a look at. It a real work of art.

I think I need to give No Country for Old Men a re-watch.
The first time around I probably wasn't giving it strict attention and left thinking "wtf was that"

Someone mentioned Million Dollar Baby, god damn that was bleak after the massive plot twist.
Of course that was probably the point, but didn't enjoy that at all.

Not sure about the Vanilla Sky hate, it's a bit odd but it made sense.

Someone mentioned Cube, great movie.

I put forward Last Days, the movie that is apparently not about Kurt Cobain, but seemingly is about that damn stupid tree outside his house. My memory may be foggy but it feels like half that movie was spent on a prolonged shot of a bush blowing gently in the breeze. Man was that film a waste of time.

David Lynch is probably number 1 for shit that don't make sense, doesn't mean I don't enjoy his films either.

The Hills have Eyes.
Can't believe they made a second one which I watched but was so memorable I can't remember anything about it now.

why do ghosts/demons do such random pointless things? if they want to take a womans soul then just do it, don't need to waste 90 minutes slamming doors and pulling sheets first.

Lost Highway

Bingo.
Typical David Lynch movie .
Gets you in ,then leaves you scratching your head thinking WTF just happened?

How someone can go to sleep in a cell & wake up a different person is typical Lynch ...no explanation .

Still some nice eye candy ,with a young half naked Patricia Arquette strutting around .

Rabbits was another very very strange Lynch movie .
