Movies That Didn't Make Any Sense

I may be in the minority but after watching The Matrix I just stared at a wall trying to understand wtf I just watched. Have never attempted to watch it again. Should I?

I once worked with a guy who thought the matrix was real and that if he walked across a busy main road, the cars would automatically stop for him. he was wrong.

Even if the Matrix was real why the hell would the car stop?

Feel free to re-watch the first one, just stay away from the overblown mess that number 2 & 3 became (or at least if you do watch them, don't try and make sense of them, just enjoy Monica Belucci and Agent Smith's hilarious laugh and the still pretty kickass fight and chase scenes).

Mr Nobody, just saw it yesterday.

A hell of a lot to take in, it made sense to me in the end but it can easily confuse the crap out of someone.

i've only seen the trailer for that, and it looked interesting. it looked like they were showing parallel universes that he was able to see

It is very interesting and worth a watch.

There is a lot to take in though even with its long duration.
Similar style of movie to Cloud Atlas, but different thematically.

Usual suspects. Great movie of course, but what I never understood was why would Keyser Soze want to kill someone who can identify him when he ends up exposing himself in the process to the police and they end up having a sketch of him at the end. Doesn't that defeat the purpose of Soze's aim?

I watched a movie called Predestination.
Won't say what I think happened so I don't spoil the film but it was a time travel film where I wasn't sure about which character was which.Only 2 characters involved and if you've seen it you probably can work out what I'm on about.

The Game with Michael Douglas.

At the end, he asks the girl out and she doesn't know which alias to use or whether to use her real name. Was it really a scam? It left me scratching my head.

Saw it not long ago and really enjoyed it.

Time travel as a plot device has the potential to ask so many interesting questions.
Too bad so many movies of that theme just don't get that.

I just rewatched Avatar for the first time since I had seen it in the cinema.
It's really not a very good movie at all. Away from the big screen and without the spectacular 3D it was a boring, cliched story.
I'm not looking forward to the sequels at all.

Nothing wrong with a familiar story if it brings something new to the table.
Everything else it had going was spectacular, which made it worthwhile for me.

For me it didn't bring enough new things to the table.
Apart from CGI of course, but that can only take you so far (just look at the Star Wars prequels).
Seriously, if you've seen Dances with Wolves, or even Ferngully, you've already seen Avatar.
