I thought the second season was great, better than the first in some ways. Looking forward to the third.
Yep, I finally got around to watching season 2 and finished it off this morning. I thought it started slow but ultimately ended up being better than season 1.

I watched the first episode months ago and binged 7 more today.

After the first I was pretty enthusiastic but around 5,6,7 I'm starting to think it's all fragments, not a coalescent story and then came the mind f**k atthe end of 8. I guessed there was something up with Mr.R but not that.

I still think it's a lot of vignettes packaged well, which I find hard to totally buy into, but some of the characters are compelling enough to keep watching.

Giddy up!

Are people still watching this? There was a bit of a revelation at the end of the today's episode (S04E02). I've got a few theories, gonna watch the whole series again from the start to see if it could pan out. I need a refresher anyway, this show is so f**king complex. So many ins, so many outs.

Love this show but I’m always so lost at the start of each season lol
Dude I am lost on a week to week basis.

I couldn't remember when Vera last showed up so I just binge watched every episode from the beginning only to discover it was in the final scene of the final episode of season 3. Though at least the show makes a bit more sense to me now.

Ok, something I noticed in the final moments of the season 4 opener...

The dude injecting Elliot with junk is Sam Esmail, the creator of the show. When I looked him up on IMDB it turns out he's had a bunch of cameos in the show, starting all the way back at the beginning, and always around Elliot. In fact, his very first appearance is in the train scene where Mr. Robot also makes his first appearance. They both appear at the exact same time. Mr. Robot shouts "Hey, hey you! Hey kiddo!" and Sam Esmail is standing to the very right of screen looking directly at Elliot. He is also one of the people that is shown in the reflection of the mirror that Elliot is staring into just before he punches and breaks it, he's later seen in Red Wheelbarrow, and he's also seen in jail.

The second episode of season 4 reveals that Elliot has another personality, or in the context of this show, an undetected (until now) rootkit. Is there going to be some crazy twist where this personality is revealed to be Sam Esmail himself?

There has been some absolute quality TV of recent times (Westworld, The Expanse, Legion, Watchmen, etc) - but I don't think anything tops Mr Robot.

I didn't think anything would top the one-shot episode last season, but the hack on Virtual Realty (the episode with no dialogue), and the "play" with Vera/Elliott/Mr Robot/Krista - phenomenal. Give Rami Malek and Sam Esmail all the awards now.

Well, I gotta say that I was completely satisfied by that ending. The last few episodes were a complete headf**k.

Sam Esmail is doing the next Battlestar Galactica reboot or whatever the hell it is. I think he's the perfect dude to pull it off after holding Mr. Robot together for four seasons. The last reboot started off great but then went completely off the rails.

That was the best finale I've ever witnessed. Astonishing achievement.

Finally finished watching. Great show with a great finale. I was a little worried there was going to be a 'it was all a dream' sort of thing but the finale certainly did the show justice.

I think i will go back and watch this from episode 1. Enjoyed season 1 then was a bit lost in season 2 after the eight month wait and stopped.

Yeah ya gotta binge watch a show like this. Something will happen one episode that links back to an episode from the previous season, and it's so easy to forget those small details on a week to week show with huge gaps between seasons.

I finally got around to watching season 4 a few weeks ago. I agree that the ending was perfection.

One of my favourite shows of all time.

Wow, just wow. From start to finish what a show and i can't remember a show that had so many good twists and more so great villians. tyrell, White Rose, Irving,Leon, Ray, Janice and Shayla's dealer all stole the show.

For me tyrell was the real star of the show and the end of his arc was my only real complaint.
