Sorry Jake cannot give you that. The two went to school together. More on this;;; Riddell will more than likely go to the Sharks. He will stay at Saints for a lesserr amount but the money does not seem to be there. It is confirmed that our offer is the highest. Its a shame he does not want to travel to Parra I could always pick him up on the way to work.

Yep I think he's less than 1% chance of coming to us and I think he'll stay at Saints. Living in the shire is a big factor for him. I think it's probably a blessing in disguise because the money ($300k) really could be spent better elsewhere *cough* *cough* Morrison *cough* *cough*

I think we need to chase a claas/rep centre for next year more than any other position. I'm not a huge Tate fan, but he goes alright and if there's not a lot of class centres on the market... go for it I say.

Not good news about Grothe, hopefully he gets better faster than expected. We need a good strong centre, Tate could be the answer, I doubt he'd live Brisbane but ya never know. It seems the more I read the least likely we are to get Riddell, he'll probably stay with the Dragons, or if he leaves it will probably be Cronulla. Chad Robinson? I don't get that, McKinnon and Grothe returned to Parra but were unwanted at their old clubs. If he's anything like those 2 though he'll fit right in.

The way Brian went on, the other night he's attitude was, well!! I never die wandering, so if we make an offer to Tate he'll atleast consider it. But to be honest he'd be 1000's to come to sydney IMO!

IMO Morro will be lucky to get a decent size contract offered to him by the Cowboys!! I cannot see any other NRL club gambling on a non recovered neck injury.

Apparantly today is the day that Riddell is likely to announce what he is doing in 2005. I would be extremely suprized to see him stay at Stgeorge and I think we have a huge chance of signing him.
Lets hope so anyway!!

Chance maybe! but at this stage of play, highly unlikely.

One thing to remember about getting Brisbane players down south is that the costs of living, buying houses, etc is far better in Brisbane than it is in Sydney. I have heard the Broncos up here say previously that is one of the biggest considerations.

For the record, I have only ever complained about the coach (and even then it wasn't to sack him, it was to see what the heel was happening) when I am frustrated.

A few days after a bad loss I am calm and realise I have no issues with Brian.

I may be one of the only ones happy to see him fulfill his contract.

While I myself have not bagged Smith, I can see why people would. Many would argue that being a fan can involve giving critcism, as they only want the best for their club.

Not sure why we would be after Robinson, but if all ex-Eels make returns anything like McKinnon's and Grothe's, we should change our recruitment policy to only go for ex-Eels.
