1. Hodgson - self-explanatory. He picks himself despite a poor game this week
2. Moodie - hasnt had a poor game all season. Along with Hodgson has been our best back.
3. Halatau - i love this kid. He plays the game the way it should be played hard but fair. We should get Dene to teach Benji how to run straight because he does it so well.
4. Elford/Harrison - i have had a my reservation all year about Elford and yesterday he reinforced that view. However, his experience is probably invauable. Yet, seeing Bronson in the centres would be an awesome sight
5. Fitzhenry - depending on injuries of course. Richards didnt look fit to me and would better for a few runs in reggies. Fitzhenry offers a lot running from dummy half. Added i dont think much of the roosters wingers and this fitzhenry could handle them defensively. Put him on Todd Byrne's side and he will do fine.
6. Prince - by far and away his best position. Added to that it takes some of the pressure of him and allows him to run the ball more which is what we need him doing.
7. Kerr - best halfback the club has had since the merger. The way he organises the forwards and the backs is reminiscint(spelling??) of Ricky Stuart
8. Laffranchi - he is big enough for the front row now.
9. Senter - the guy kept us in that game for the first 20 mins yesterday. Without him the score would have been 50-0 at halftime
10. Skandalis - when he is a good he is great.
11. O'Neill - we missed the little things he does so well.
12. Sattler - as above
13. Fulton - brings creativity to the side that we are lacking in Sattler. He wouldnt let us down.

14. Mears/Farah - they both have their strengths. At the moment probably go with Mears but dont want to leave Farah out for much longer
15. Payten
16. Gibbs
17. Heignington

Thats a big bench. Plus the starting lineup is the most creative we have had on the park all year.

cheers

I think Richards will be there though. He's still a safer option than Fitzhenry out there. If fitz is gonna be there it needs to be closer to the ruck.

yeh but the Rooster will have all week to formulate it as a game plan. Added to that the Dragons didnt really need to when they could just walk past Elford and Co

Maybe change rhino with someone with a bit more speed in the pack as our pack has got to be one of the slowest in the comp (not just play the ball but leg speed as well)

dont quite no why I deserved that Balmain Boy. Sorry for having an opinion. Next time I wont make comparisons with players for fear of offending you sweetheart. Oh just one more Benji Marshall reminds me of tulsen tollett :). Go watch the Canterbury game again and see how a real halfback gets his forwards organised. In my view there are only three half backs in the game today who do this. Johns, Kimmorely, and Orford. As good as Gower is I wouldnt say that was one of his strengths but he was getting better at it last year.

Ordinary effort balmain boy,With Kerr being untested it hard
to say much.Bagging someone for rating one of our players
who has shown potential

I've said it for a while that i'm a fan of kerr.Nothing has changed
that.I want him given the chance but still find it unlikely to see his
name unless of injuries.

yeah not a bad side harsh on Elford, everyone missed tackles yesterday. He's a good center when he gets decent ball. You mention Tood Bryne
well i know who i would like jumping for a high ball or running over the turnstyle walker- and it aint Fitzy!

Like boof back in the front row and fulton at lock, good mix

Mate u'd have to be crazy to drop robert mears at the moment.... in the best form of his career..... he f**kin carved it up against parra, dogs [ esp. set up 2 tries], and also warriors........

its not even worth thinking about dropping him..... one of top 3 players this yr

Laffranchi should be starting as well, he really put in against he dragons and has been in fairly decent form all year.

Elford will get the nod ahead of Harrison.

Fitzhenry needs to be in the side, I'd like him at 5/8 though, with Halatau in the centres.

1-Hodgson
2-Moodie
3-Elford
4-Halatau
5-Covell
6-Fitzhenry
7-Prince
13-Sattler
12-Galea
11-O'Neill
10-Skandalis
9-Senter (c)
8-Laffranchi

14-Mears
15-Richards
16-Payten
17-Gibbs
