Great. A 2nd division will be mainly Qld cup teams with Newtown, Mounties, bears (provided Perth isn't admitted to NRL) & Fiji. Victoria & south Aussie won't even get a look into that..

Mark my words, there will be an NRL 2nd division by the year 2030.

I don't know about that date, but the game is turning down cashed up investors with the limited expansion spots.

A second division would allow many interested parties to create a team with a pathway to the NRL.

Base of any 2nd division will be old nswrl & Qld teams, not fanciful locations & names thought up on this forum though.

Given the amount of consortiums who wants to field an NRL team, that build a very compelling case for the launch of a 2nd division.
