My thoughts on Tigers game.

A crucial game for the Dragons. A loss here could really put them up $hit creek. The Knights and Tigers are gunning for a top 8 and playing good football. The Warriors are also going OK apart from last weeks hiccup. Losing this week will make it tough to make the top 8 as the Dragons have a hard draw starting from Friday.

Ryles will be crucial for this game. If he is out Hunt and Reynoldson will need to step up.

If Brett Morris is out they should put Nightingale at Fullback and Lett on the wing. Still trying to figure out what Lett has done wrong not to get a call up. Each time he has played he has been great.

Must win game, if we can't get some confidence going into the finals then it will be hard to turn around at the pressure time. If we just get rid of the stupid penalties IS it that hard?

It must be something to do with his giant lugs. it's the only reason I can see why he wouldn't get more time in firsts.

no ryles
no poore
no morris
no gasnier
no creagh

looks a very uphill task from here...
can anyone also tell me why the hell Brown played woolford on the bench last week and left Rangi chase out of the 17? was chase injured? surely it cant be because Brown thinks woolford offers more from the bench???

we could have really used rangi last week especially with us needing a game breaker late in the match - one extra try would have put them away, rangi could have offered that - woolford no hope

Woolford?
It was something to do with ensuring that all players were in touch in case they were needed for finals footy???

Agree with Cagey Mac. The form Ryles, Poore and Creagh were in they would have carved through the Tigers pack like the proverbial hot knife. Without that trio it will be a significant test.

Geez you suely think highly of your team don't you. Considering your poor record against us in the past few years the only thing u got in your favour is your win record a WIN. This still wont help you this week though, Wests by 3 tries.

I don't know how any Tigers fan can be confident, even with the Dragons missing plenty.

We had a good game last week, which means a sh1t performance is due. Thats how we've operated for the past three seasons. One step forward, two steps back. Hope they prove me wrong but if we lose this week will anyone be surprised? With the sh1t we've dished up since 05, nobody should be.

Plus, Gasnier is playing and that merkin has our matches marked down for at least two meat pies. He'll give us a nice going away present, without doubt.

I appreciate the trolls can't quite work it out, but there's two things I like about that footage...

1. WT considered the 2005 preliminary final win to be like winning a grand final. A bit of a backhander to Cowboys I thought, but an almost bizarre acknowledgement that WT fans considered Saints to be the team to beat that year.

2. The wonderful 'WT 16 premierships v Saints 15 premierships' thang at the end. I suppose it was meant to ruffle some feathers but I considered it to be two JV's standing tall and proud of their heritage.

Good work.

I still dont agree with Young being at 9. Especially with our pack demolished like it is now. He is too slow. Quick feet = damn fine dummy half.

Look at Farah, Smith and Buderus all have quick feet. Woolford is quicker than Young since his injury. With Chase off he Bench to give Woolford a bit of a rest is the way to go.

Also the mobile Tigers Pack will take advantage of Dopey Saffy and he is sure to give away some penalties. My Team would Look:

1. Nightingale
2. Sailor
3. Gasnier
4. Cooper
5. J Morris
6. Soward
7. Horby
8. Reynoldson
9. Woolford
10. Hunt
11. Young
12. Scott
13. Setu
14. Saffy
15. Webb
16. Prior
17. Chase
18. Stanley

I think we can win if we play like we have been for the last cpl of months...

by lets say 6 or 8

PS we need some size vs the warriors!!

freakin hell sailor should be there. Why the f*ck did the dragons sign him if they're just gonna leave him in qld cup. We need him.

As for the match, we need to shut down farah as he was the reason the tigers beat us in rd 1. Oh saffy against former club and payne against us. This might be interesting. Tigers have lowest error rate in nrl and dragons make a few so we need to work on that. No jason ryles may be a good thing as he gives away the most penalties and poore is up there too.

is stanley going to play right wing? if so things could ugly for the dragons with tuiaki demolishing him. lock him in for first try scorer.

the only way the dragons can attack is through the kick and wests are the best at defusing kicks in the game. tuiaki and ryan are both great under the high ball and when its on the ground. gallantis also confident in this regard.

tigers to get on a roll through the forwards early and keep it going. tigers by 10.

Stanelys defence aint that bad when it comes to contact... im sure he can handle his own its reading that he somewhat lacks... and thats where Marshall could exploit him...

As for under the high ball i'd take Florence over ur blokes anyday!
