firstly, congrats to buckets... well done on 200 games.
what has happened to us ?
i give us no hope of making the finals this year. end of story.
on tonights and last weeks performance, the only ones to hold there heads high are the young guys.
- halatau was great in a well beaten side
- fulton finally got some decent game time and looked good. maybe needed to get a little more involed... but who could blame him for hanging back.
- harrison didnt impress me with his first few games, but the last two weeks he has been very solid. looks good.
- gibbs tackled his arse off and had a dig. needs to keep the legs pumping in the tackles.
on the negative:
- woeful attack and defence. last two weeks has cost us 106 on our for and against, and if you add both games vs roosters and dragons we conceeded 167 and only scored 10.
- moodie was disgraceful for about the 5th time in a row. he has no heart or pride in our jersey.
- heighno needs to hit the line with some speed. every hitup has a stutter just before the line. stuffs up his whole run.
- elfords hands are total crap.
- really need more options in the halves. VERY predictible. wilson must go.
- sattler, mears, richards, payten and even skando we well below their best. i'll let patty off because its his second game back, but the others have no excuses.
next week against the raiders is a crunch game. this will be our season. i feel we have totally gone off the rails, which is very unfourtunant, as nearly 19,000 people for the second time this year dont deserve that.
my team for next week:
1. Brett Hodgson
2. Luke Covell
3. Shane Elford
4. Dene Halatau
5. Pat Richards
6. Scott Sattler
7. Keiran Kerr
8. Anthony Laffranchi
9. Darren Senter
10. John Skandalis
11. Chris Heighington
12. Mark O'Neill
13. Liam Fulton
14. Robbie Farah
15. Todd Payten
16. Bronson Harrison
17. Bryce Gibbs
18. Gray Viane
