There was a bloke that played for Parramatta in the 70's maybe into the 80's a backrower named Ernie Wanka

Another that the ground announcer used to get a chuckle from was Wayne King a Wests Lower grade player - used to say his name in one go with no gap between Wayne and King.

Spiro Strattos was a crowd favourite - mmm a few of us - lower grade player for the Roosters(under 23's and Reggies) - Rooster # 705 debut as a reserve in round 20 1979 vs Penrith - only appearance.

Rob McClusky -Rooster # 840 - A Professional Tennis player the Chooks signed - Debut as a reserve in round 12 1988 vs Balmain - only appearance- Not sure why he changed sports and had a try at League though?

Carlos Parra - Rooster # 811 - 2 appearances from the bench in 1986 - Round 13 vs Wests and Round 14 vs Cronulla - Should have played for Parramatta with a surname like that.
