thats the problem, not many people reaaaaaaaaaaallly watch a game of league properly. Most people just get sucked up into the TC bashing propaganda. If people truly analysed the way he plays and the little things he does in a game then they would know who is the best.
The problem is that people read the stats

x amount of tackles

x amount of hit ups

It all means diddly squat to me. If a player makes 50 tackles in a game you have to ask the qurstion...WHY did that player make soooo many tackles. Did the oppostition see that player as a weak link in that he didnt wrap up the ball thus there is a chance of an offload?
Not everything in this game is black and white...but few supporters truly know the game and how its reaaaaaaaally played.

i think your 'o' and 'a' are malfunctioning Charlie ;-)

Mmmmm interesting, no mention of Daniel Abraham anywhere. He is a quality player and alot more consistent then most mentioned.

Luke O'donnell is easily the best lock in the game. Very, very underated player. His workrate and quality of it are outstanding.

Looking through this lists highlights the lack of quality locks in todays game. Anthony Tupou has a possible future at lock. He'd be a great one imo.

Carroll is nowhere near the best lock in the game, he's a solid defender, but in the space of 2 seasons it seems like he's lost all his attacking ability, makes less than 80 metres a game and never makes a line break and offers nothing in terms of 2nd phase. He also missed more tackles and made less tackles than Waterhouse last season.

Paul Gallen - He has clearly been the best lock this season and also the fastest forward in the NRL. Pretty handy and I wouldn't swap him for any other lock in the game.

Dallas Johnson was very close to cracking my top 10
he has been a real surprise packet this year

BTW anyone that hasnt got Croker in their top 10 somewhere has rocks in their head IMO :)

Typical Canberra supporter.

Yes a Raiders supporter boosting a player who is one of the best embodiments of the loyal and good guy approach to rugby league who is still an effective player, 15 years into his 1st grade career.

It's unfathomable isn't it?

Fastest? He's good, but no way is he the fastest.

He really is it was in the paper that he had the best time for a forward behind craig wing who is now a 5/8 ;-)
