Don't get me wrong, I liked season 2. But seeing his rise to the top was more entertaining than watching him sit around waiting to be killed. A lot of filler in the second season

In that final episode, the real Agent Pena and Agent Murphy make a cameo in the bar celebrating Escobar's death

Well that's what happened, plus your seeing more of the Cali clan, and as thats the focus for the next 2 seasons, it will be very interesting.

No comments on season 3 yet?

I think as far as a crime thriller goes this season is easily better than the first 2, however the Cali Cartel is obviously not as fascinating and brutal as Escobar and his Medellin cartel.

Season 3 turned out ok in the end, lots of action in the end episodes but it was a bit slow in the middle ones

I was doubtful about season 3 with Escobar’s absconded but I reckon it was the best yet. Was more like a season of The Wire, took a few episodes to get going with lots of different characters to introduce and set up but was absolutely riveting when it got going. The last few episodes were some of the tensest TV I’ve ever watched, edge of the seat stuff

I think that’s why I preferred season 3, in season 2 you knew it was gonna end in a hail of bullets eventually and I’d pretty much stopped caring about him. In season 3 there were a whole bunch of characters you cared about or hated enough to want to see what happened to them.
