Nathan Brown is playing well for Souths

A far superior player to Jack Buchanan who should never have been let go.

I think there might have been an intention to play Dallas Graham in NRL this year but he got injured before Brown was let go.

We are very short in the prop department. You've got to wonder who is balancing the books at the Tigers?

Woods, Galloway, Taupau, Ava, Lodge, Sue....plus some promising juniors.
We are not short at prop.

Like to have kept Brown too.

I can understand why he was let go. In hindsight when Dallas graham went down for the season it's probably not the best idea but what can you do?

I don't think he makes our strongest 17, he makes souths so it was best for him to move on.

Bodene Thompson is playing well for NZ. Benji Marshall is playing well for St Merge. Marika Koroibete is playing well for Melbourne. Blake Austin is playing well for Canberra.

Brown is certainly no loss & depth in the prop department is our strong point. We lack experienced & aggressive back rowers. If only we could clone our best forward in the history of our merged club Gareth Ellis. The one player we should never have let go particularly as he was still under contract is Austin. That was a gargantuan blunder as he was close to our best last yr & Moses should've had another yr in nsw cup.We are paying a big price for a decision that has benefited a dickhead like Stuart. In saying that I'm confident we will c Moses realize his potential over the next few yrs.

We didn't want to lose bodene, didn't his ex partner and his kid move back to NZ, not much we could have done to keep him. Benji needed to go at the time, it was in both parties best interests. The other should never have been let go though.

Fair enough. Austin should be your 6 right now & Koro should be on the left wing but that's footy.

I believe the Austin decision was soley JTs which is dissapointing. Korobiete is on Mayers head which is a disgrace. Meanwhile Richards looks to have negotiated a new 2 year contract..

Brown is an aggressive forward , something we lack , he is very young as far as props go and will only get better . Dumb move to let him go.

If there is one thing you can take solace in Tigers fans it's that he seems like a total dickhead.

My opinion of him may be swayed by the way he acted in that u20's game a year or two back but even in FG he seems like such a c**k.

Brown has proven to be a great signing for Souths. He has good leg speed, strong defender, and hits like a sledge hammer. And after yesterday he looks to have a great offload and ball skills. I can't believe Taylor made the decision to keep big fat Lodge and Lovette over Brown.

Lodge will be better then brown. Lovett I'm not sold on but you would have needed a club to want him, plus they play different positions anyway.

I believe it is the club officials inability to see potential. That one FG game he played against Saints in 2013 proved to me the guy had what was required to be a top prop. But alas club officials go for a bunch of (sorry, for this desciption of the players) soft c**ks.

Brown punches way above his weight. Being tough, aggressive & playing with as much enthusiasm as Brown does ensured he would constantly be overlooked @ this pussy club.

The pathetic oxygen thiefs Galloway & Blair are the templates by which our inept retention/recruitment has been based when it comes to retaining & promoting forwards. The invaluable enthusiasm Brown displays is foreign to these 2 bums.

Good luck to Brownie. He's now with the perfect club/coach to optimise his footy career.

Once the books are balanced, Ronald needs to be frogmarched and a recruitment officer worth his salt must be employed.

I still shudder thinking about that backrow of Fulton,Blair and Anasta,no wonder poor old Fulton knocked himself senseless into retirement making up for those two pillow fighters.
