Thanks Terracesider.

That's not very amusing from a York point of view :? Looks like we'll be trying to get above Batley and Oldham this season to avoid the drop. Hull KR and Whitehaven both undefeated...

Blackpool play Hunset on Sunday.
It's probably going to be a long hard season for York fans. Been there, done that.

In NL 3, Essex, Carlisle, Bimingham and Coventry have all gone, in various forms, to the Summer Conference. Not good for expansion perhaps but better in the long term than their being on the end of some of last year's scorelines.

The one thing you don't want to see is KR topping the table.

Still think Leigh will win it, I have a soft spot for York and hope they do well (like terracesider though, been there and done that).

Hull KR-always promise much and then fail to deliver. Even my team Halifax beat them last year and we are crap:lol: Even if they do go up they wont last. And the Ground is crap and dont take your car as it wont be there when you return after the game speaking from experience.

We'll see how crap Hull KR are when they play Halifax next week. See if you are still moaning about them then.

One thing we won't see in Super League is Hull topping the table. Get used to it, mate, Rovers will be top for a while yet.

The one thing you do see though is Hull a league above KR (come on FFS , we've been waiting over 8 years for you lot to join us).

If Rovers don't go up this year they never will, they've now put themselves in a situation to take hold of the League by the scruff of its neck. I guess we'll see Rovers true quality when you go on the road and play the decent teams. Will your team stand up and win or will they end up on there arses. You've played no one yet barring Leigh, as last year proved you could beat Cas at home and in the NRC final but you didnt have the ability to do well in the play offs (usual story) against a team who finished below you.

Either way it'll more then likely end up going tits up come August as usual.

Then just think what damage going full time would of done.

Results updated above. No surprises, except maybe Sheffield, previously unbeaten, were 44-22 ahead after 42 minutes and blew it; and a good win for Featherstone.

I believe there were some shenanigans at Sheffield regarding half of the floodlights not working, meaning the game was played in partial darkness - don't know if this accounts for the Workington comeback though...

I think Widnes' victory at Whitehaven could be counted as a surprise... Whitehaven unbeaten in 3 years at home and Widnes looking extremely shaky in the last few games. Widnes weren't as convincing as the score suggests, though the team is now showing signs of gelling (probably in part due to moving Mark Smith back to hooker). Dodd also had a stormer, and Nanyn was obviously there with a point to prove. I think the result was even more impressive considering it was achieved without The Peach and Lucas Onyango.
