My post game review….

Just the game back again for second time Herbie walked 2 metres off the mark before their last try. Also the Duncan saying no balance and control playing ball was ruck intereference. Some of those play the balls so slow too and second efforts a couple of leg pulls Gee gave us nothing. As for the bunker with Klein Jye Gray didn’t knock that on Averillo did and the Wighton thing was a try. Even Greg Alexander thought we got the rough end and he hates Souths. Just makes the win better.

First half we completed so well second half some errors crept in.

Gray: Phenomenal our best player 25 for 280 metres great clean up work at the back. Did bomb a try though not passing to Munro. But he was in everything best game I’ve seen him play.

Tass: Very solid under the high ball and shit work coming out of trouble well played.

Wighton: Did a job on Farnworth I thought lots of strong carries executed the pass for the winning try perfectly. His discipline has to be better though.

Campbell: First game back was sensational. Some of those shit work hit ups out of trouble phenomenal. A try saver too and a few massive efforts in defence he was great boy have we missed him.

Munro: What a shame another collar bone injury. Scored 2 good tries looked sharp we will miss him.

Cody: Just his presence lifted the side. Was quite involved passing game was good. Defensively he was very strong and ran the ball well a few times. Good game from him. Gave Keaon some good ball as well.

Humphreys: Big upgrade on Ilias. Defensively so strong kicking game for the most part good with good height on his kicks even has a torp. Linked up well with Cody and Jye didn’t overplay his hand looked very composed overall. Good runner of the ball too and good all round game. Does he keep the spot next week? Wayne praised him highly in the presser.

Keppie: First stint was quiet but had a strong second stint some strong carries which we really needed. Overall was very solid. Need more of that from him.

Mamozoules: Was solid made 45 tackles missed 4. Some real crisp passes then some that were far too slow and didn’t pass quick enough off the ground so much so the defence was nearly up on us. Didn’t run much either. Not bad but I expect more in coming weeks.

Moale: Only 29mins thought was a bit strange. Was a bit quiet for my liking he will have to play better than that.

Keaon: Geez he looked good played very well strong hit ups good post contact metres threw a couple of nice offloads. Looks the fittest I’ve seen made 186 metres as well. Good start Keaon now to build off that.

Arrow: Was enormous our second best player I thought clean up work was phenomenal and a couple of try savers great first game with limited pre season as well. Made some tough metres as well with some solid runs. 42 tackles and 0 missed wowza.

Hubner: The HUBERNATOR welcome mate what a first game. Put on a couple of massive shots to force errors when we needed it. No frills but a tough boy. Hits so hard in defence. Made 33 tackles and 12 for 99 metres. Does miss a few tackles though I would like him to improve on that. Wayne praised him highly in the presser.

Sullivan: Did his best that second half to cover in the backs. Fell off some tackles but did a job I guess which we needed.

Havili: Was solid did his job I guess had a few strong hit ups.

Duncan: Had a couple of loose passes and a poor error but overall did well 36 tackles and 13 for 123 metres was very busy. Played the last 58mins. Got through lots of work.

Tatola: Great to see Junior get through 25mins he was so gassed after 7-8mins as he was so underdone which was to be expected but he did his best and that’s all you can ask obviously very rusty. Will take him a couple of months to get up to speed.

Overall proud of all the lads. That was a courageous gutsy and gritty win we should all be very proud! Glory Glory to South Sydney

Young Munro needs to quit drinking fizzy sodas and stop eating take away garbage. These things simply corrode the quantum of calcium in the bones and put fat on the corps. Somebody with influence must get to him or his potential star career is gone. And the lad can be a star.
A few other salient points:
1. Duncan needs to left his overall game. The opportunity is now open for him with Murray disparu BUT he must be better. He has the athleticism, but seems to lack full concentration at vital times.
2. Kelpie's work rate has improved and perhaps Burt will trust him starting regularly. Ditto for Mamezoulos but again he must keep improving.
3. Gray is far too good to be left out of the 17 squadron, regardless of who is available.
4. Graham is in outstanding footballer and a tremendous team player. Slowly slowly must be the key given his 18 month absence but what an upgrade the man is over the past season!
Burt seems to like young Sullivan. Yes he has speed and appears hungry. Would Coach trust him starting at 2 or 5?

Really like 3 and 4. Agree wholeheartedly with both.
