Hahaha thats so weak Mick, pathetic.

You couldnt respond to the NBA disscussion so you ignore it and focus on my passion for the game. I'll take that as a win.

Instead of actually talking about the NBA you decide to harp on about a statement that was admitted to being incorrect....

As for focussing on your passion and ignoring discussion - you mean like you did with pretty much every one of my posts when I was saying I was wrong?

YOU are the one that brought up your passion. About how you weren't taking shots, you were just "passionate" and chiming in on discussions after reading one line and not understanding context of the discussion. A discussion where I was basically saying that my statement was wrong based on what I had SEEN as a number 1 option on a team - something he hadn't done before. So I DID admit that.

But that's cool. I understand your passion for the game. I just wish this conversation would have gone differently considering I'd admitted I was wrong like 2 days ago.

And your welcome for the sig.

I wonder what their next move will be.. 6 power forwards on the rockets roster.. trade 2-3 of them..

Make a play at an experienced 3 or 4..

If Lakers are looking to unload pau for someone abit more athletic they could make a trade..

Throw in pau and the rockets would be very good.

Or.. boozer would be a great addition.. not sure what the bulls plans are, I'd imagine Gibson will want to start sometime in the next 4 seasons..

Daryl Morey loves Pau. Has been after him for a very long time. If he is in play, I'm sure they will make a move for him. Think he'd be a great fit in that team too.

Boozer is an interesting one. Seems to have his mojo back a little bit - Last year he was absolutely awful - maybe it was an issue with fitness, not sure...but seems with a bit of extra responsibility this year he is back to somewhere near his best. But that is a big contract to move I would think given his history.

Mick this argument started with "harden is not a star..etc" u no the line.

That was so wrong u it had to be revised after two games of an 82 game season.

It then went to "harden needs to team up with another superstar to win a ring".

What has been one of the biggest topics in basketball since the celtics big three formed? Superstars need
to team up to win.

The heat
Melo
Paul
Howard

its been a hot subject for five or six years, Its a very common opinion
that stars need to team up to win a title, as seen on espn.

So there should be no argument but i guess we got got caught up in my "ultra aggressive" passionate bullshit Mick. lol what the f**k.

And yes i said harden is a star but not a championship first option, maybe second or third. I will
admit the first two games has me doubting that, i think im wrong, but we'll see.

I only went on with it yesterday Mick because you called me ultra aggressive and kept on going on about passion because I said im passionate about basketball, Is a passionate basketball fan really so far out of the realm of reality?????

Anyway Mick, we'll end the argument. We can have another one when you can come up with an opinion that isnt blown out of the water after two games or one that isnt a direct reflection of one off the biggest topics in basketball for the last 6 years.

Kept on going on about passion? I mentioned it once in jest - Using your own words to have a bit of a laugh. Then you ranted about it all day lol.

You mentioned your passion dude lol, when you said you weren't having a go at me - that you were just passionate. So then AFTER you had a real go at me "Stupid f**k etc" to have a bit of fun with it I mentioned it in jest lol, then all of a sudden I'm the on going on about it? lol whatever dude. It was a bit of light hearted fun and you flat out over-reacted at that line.

And referencing your previous post about a discussion for 5-6 years....yeah agreed. And the argument never went to that point btw, you took it there. It was a revised statement that he is a great player that needs help to win - and as you rightly pointed out...as a number of players do. You yourself said he will likely have to be a 2nd or 3rd option...so you railed against what I'd said...but you'd punctuated your argument with essentially the same opinion. lol. Just seems like you were just looking for an argument dude.

As for "Ultra aggressive", yeah it was stupid wording....but don't pretend that you didn't come at me with the argument after I'd already admitted I was wrong....Just to rub it in the face a little more. Then you just flat out say I'm stupid because of one thought that I admitted I got wrong after the dude greatly exceeded anyone's expectations after the trade? Come on...far out you telling me that wasn't an over-reaction on your behalf yesterday? Although I doubt you'd admit that.

At least I'm man enough to admit I freaking made a mistake and not like Skip Bayliss who just stays entrenched despite what he sees. But seems being human and making errors of judgement, then trying to acknowledge the error and correct them when given the opportunity seems to just start arguments and gets you called stupid.

Good to see the "argument" over - finally.

I said it was a dumb statement, which it was, so no thats not an overreaction.

Like i said, I think you are overly sensitive Mick, they are just words.

Anyway you can call my comments 'rants' and then write comments twice as long all day Mick you muppet, your original statement was bullshit and your 'revised statement' was a nothing statement. Its like saying you have to score more points then the other team to win, umm no shit sherlock.

My revised statement basically was agreeing with your opinion you muppet. So you are saying your own opinion is a nothing opinion by saying that. Moron. Refer below -

He will be an all star imo, just not the guy to lead a team to a ring.

"The kid is a genuine talent, but I don't believe he can lead a team to a title as a #1 player on a team like a superstar"
If he was the #2 or #3 guy on a team...fantastic. But I just don't see him leading Houston to a title unless they get someone there to help him.

Guess we are both stupid then betcats or is your opinion immune for introducing a 5-6 year old argument into your post?

Houston's rookie has some sort of anxiety problem and cannot fly on a plane.. how the heck can they make it work with him? Bus or train him all over the country? Play him at home only and close proximity areas?

He can be a number 1 option(i think he is better suited to being 2), just not on a championship team imo, not right now.

.

And doesn't change the fact that I think he needs a superstar with him to win a title .

Those are two different statements Mick, especially given the context of when they where said.

Also you never admitted you were wrong, you admitted he was better then you thought then you got all defensive and talked down his game with shit defenses etc. It was only after i got on you about it you started saying you admitted you were wrong two days ago.

I had admitted it prior to that after discussions with Special K. Admitting he was much better than I thought and adjusting my statement was admitting I was wrong. Changing an opinion isn't exactly staying the course - so it was an admission of showing an error in judgement. Then you decided to latch on.

How are they two different statements? You chose two different statements. Address the ones above & then how you "got on me" about my "revised" opinion. So one context allows you to comment on a 5-6 year old argument, but not me?

That's a bit hypocritical right there.

They are different statements because one is saying he needs to team up with another star to win, we already know that, everyone needs to team up.

The other is saying he isnt the best first option on a championship team.
Obvously he would not be the only star on the team.

I never said your statement was wrong just silly(I was a lot harsher then that admittedly), it was stating the obvious.

As for the bolded part, why?? I only ever reffered to one of those comments once, when i quoted it and said you backtracked, which was true even by your own admission. I never said they were wrong or even silly.

You connected those comments to my argument.

*sigh* I'm over this discussion. I'm not even going to bother any more.

It's just stupid now.

So are your gay little *sighs*.

And thats about the third time you have said you're over this argument or done with this argument.

Now why did you have to do that? Seriously...Because every time I say I'm done with the argument you drag it back.

Just let it go.

Am i holding a gun to your head and making you post? No, lol.

IMO people use those little sighs and comments like "i am done with this argument" when they can think of nothing to say, usually whoever said it ends up jumping back in a few hours or so later once they have a think, like you have in this thread.

Also I find it belittlling, which is usually not something I let go.

Anyway if you meant what you said it shouldnt matter what i post.
