Lakers 2-1 after 3.

It's amazing how the big calls go the other way when they cross the country...

Magic got the rub of the green tonight (ok, but I'm biased so I still reckon the Lakers got more calls today than the Magic got in game 2....).

Can the Magic shoot 60+ again? Maybe. Maybe not. They can do it though.

I can't believe how clutch Rashard is though. The amount of clutch shots he and Hedo hit are just ridiculous. I guess with those two there, Orlando will always be a chance in this series. But Pau looks unstoppable. With him firing, I think the Lakers are too strong.

Gotta keep the faith though, right? Orlando in six.

Pau and Odom are the Lakers keys. The Orlando Magic can handle a 1 man team in the Cavs, but the lakers support players a re much better then Williams, Ilgauskus and whoever else they have.

Just thought i'd let you guys know that as of today, i am officially founding the "Get Pau Gasol more f**king shots" foundation. This will be a non-profit organization that looks to improving the quality of life of the Gasol species by primarily looking to post him up more often in games. It is simply staggering the suffering this creature has been put under every time he sees Kobe or another member of the backcourt chucking up bricks when he is constantly establishing great and deep post position against wannabe PF Rashard Lewis. This organization will look to prevent such attrocities as Trevor Ariza taking more shots than him in a game and look to fight for a brighter future, primarily to make Kobe aware that his primary centre in LA isn't Kwame Brown anymore.

In all seriousness, while it is tempting to put everything on Kobe, i thought he played pretty well for alot of the 4th quarter. While he wasn't scoring a ton of points he was respecting the double team and passing out to wide open players like Fisher and Ariza. The turning point in the game really was when LA is down 2 with a minute to go, and Kobe went for that high pick and roll with Gasol. Howard did a great job of deflecting the ball. If only Gasol had of called the time out. From then on it was strictly Kobe Ball ](*,)

Magic finally win a finals game...only took them 7 games.
Has to be a record for a team to lose their first 6 finals games (1995 sweep...games 1-2 2009)

Love that clip, Mbenga is the one that elbow's Mihm in the jaw and he's also the one who initiates the altercation. Seeing him abuse Sasha made me smile though, something i've wanted to do for many a year.

Glad to see the Magic in the NBA finals.

I was a massive NBA fan when I was younger, but I dont have Pay or One HD (apparently launches in Newcastle in July)

The Magic were/are my favourite team. Anfernee Hardaway was my fav player. Love any clips I get to see of Dwight Howard these days.

Big game today. Can:

* the Magic D step-up?
* the Magic keep hitting their jumpers?
* the Lakers guards throw the ball to Gasol?

I think Lakers win this game. They only lost by 4 the other day with the Magic shooting 62.5%, something that won't happen again. However, go Magic!

I hope LA wins this game, loses the next one in Orlando, and then wins it all at home...

Man i don't even know where to begin. That was one of the best Finals games i've seen in years. My man love for D.Fisher couldn't be any higher right now. I'm gotta eat some humble pie and admit i ripped the guy alot when he was in his shooting slump. But Phil stoody by him (something else i ripped) and it's paid of in the biggest way possible.

Gonna steal Tiger's format and give some of my notes from the game;

*Kobe had a mixed game. While he bricked up waaay too many shots, i can't fault the guy for making 8 assists, next highest was 2 with Ariza.
*I want to make love to D.Fisher
*Ariza's three at the top of the key with the shot clock winding down and our offense broken was as important as Fisher's late 3 in the 4th. If Ariza doesn't make that, we don't even get close
*Hack-A-D.Dwight......As much as i love D12, who had a BEAST of a game, he deserves alot of critisizm. If he can make even one of those two free throws with 10 seconds left in the 4th, Orlando are tied in the series. Hedo missed some key free throws as well so i can't put it all on Dwight.
*I want to have a love child with D.Fisher
*I know as a Laker fan i of all people shouldn't complain about this, but we got gipped by the refs in the 4th and OT. In the 4th how can one team go to the free throw line 18 times and the other doesn't even get there once. Has this ever happened in NBA Finals history? Then again, i'm not denying we've had similar situations go our way in the past, i should accept it. We still won so who cares :)

Poor Orlando fans. The old school fans must have been having an epic hit of De ja vu. Shame cause Dwight had a good game. Kobe's made a great defensive play by making that hard foul on D.Howard with 10 secs to go that led to what will become D12's infamous freethrow. If he allows Dwight to make that dunk its game over.

Orlando really botched the last possession in regulation. Through great screens they had Howard 1 on 1 with Kobe on the low post, yet Pietrus goes solo with a mid-range floater.

Up by 3 with what, 15 seconds remaining, and DON'T foul.......wow.

Another game Magic has thrown away.

I might add, the Real Superman always hit his free throws when it mattered....
