Haha that would have been wierd.

Yeah I figured it would be better to have a new separate thread for the playoffs. Plus your OP had alot of good information and it would have been lost in the regular season thread.

So the results from today;

Bulls beat 76ers 103-91 to go up 1-0 (with Rose tearing ACL)
Heat beat Knicks 100-67 to go up 1-0.
Magic beat Pacers 81-77 to go up 1-0.
OKC beat Mavs 99-99 to go up 1-0.

Pacers being the only home team to lose. Surprised by that one. Man it would be hilarious if the Magic could advance to the 2nd round without Dwight.

That was a great game, I think Dallas gave their all and that loss will devastate them. Will be hard for them to come back from that defeat.

Also, bad news about Rose. Just not his season, the Heats run just got much easier.

What make's the Rose thing even worse is that with the timing of the injury, it will probably carry over into next season as well. And even when he does come back, it will still take time for him to get back to his best.

Without Rose, Chicago have no stars to turn to, you can get away with it in the regular season (such as a team like Denver), but the playoffs are where the stars shine and play more minutes and hit the big shots. They will probably scrape past the Sixers but they will fall to Celtics/Hawks.

Go Hawks. Rondo facing suspension for bumping official which also got him his second technical and ejected from the game.

Don't think Celtics will be too upset with the result given they were without Ray Ray, and with Paul Pierce stinking up the joint. KG had a pretty bad start but did start making some shots towards the end.

Hard to tell how many games Rondo will get. He'll probably get at least one, just on the principle of intimidating an official. Don't think it really warrants anymore. J-Smoove was good. Really liked it when he took it to the rim rather than just settling for jumpers (even though he did make some), because alot of those drives led to kick outs to open players.

Good to see Bynum beasting it. Controlled the game defensively, which he doesn't do very often. Pretty good performances from everyone as well, although Kobe's shooting was terrible in the first half.

And how about that Clippers rally! From 27 down. Only watched the first half and am now shattered that I didn't stick through to the end.

That clippers come back was just crazy!!! I'm in the same position as you lol had to go Uni at half time and missed it, spewing!!!

On the lakers, was a very solid win and if Bynum plays like that and keeps that mindset, the lakers are gonna be tough to beat!!!

Pacers beat Magic 93-78 to tie series at 1-1.

OKC beat Mavs 102-99 to go up 2-0.
