We're goneskies, from what I hear Gasol may've torn his plantar fascia, which is 1 month+ on the sidelines ;/

Damn. I hope Kobe doesn't revert to 25-30 shots a night compensate. What a nightmare of a season. Thanks for the info.

Over here in the states all espn talks about is Dwight vs Kobe and Dwight vs the Lakers. I really can't see him sticking around

If I had to bet I'd probably say that he stays (for financial reasons) but I wouldn't be surprised if he did leave. It's obvious that he wanted to go to Brooklyn but he mangled that situation so badly (by waiving his ETO) that they were out of the equation. Only real issue with Dwight leaving is whether he'd be interested in any of the teams that have cap space this off-season. Dallas? Atlanta?

Yeah Parker has been great, won't come close to winning MVP when you've got Durant, Lebron, CP3 and Kobe but he's still up there imo.

Thankfully it's been a pretty light/weak schedule the past couple weeks so there's no need to rush Duncan back.

Hawks or the rockets I would guess. Jalen Rose was pushing for a Horford/Korver for Howard trade. Shows you how his stock has dropped.

Seriously though just woke up and put ESPN on they are talking about it again. It's crazy how much they are going after Dwight and his "injuries" and I haven't even been in LA. Makes me nervous to buy a Howard lakers jersey.

Kobe has called out Howard and basically said "Suck it up, and play hurt (as the shoulder can't get worse)". This will either motivate Howard or see him move on.

Link.

Special K, I think if they don't trade then he just walks no sign and trade deal. DH was never a good fit for them and neither was SN. This us a team that will struggle for the next few years til Kobe retires given his needs and cap. DH is the leading big man in the league and while he still gets his boards and points be it down slightly but he gets so little touches he can't be happy and then a team mate goes public with bitching about him I hardly think it is conducive to a successful outcome.

Dwight is a circus. Whatever happens I hope it ends up with Dwight and the Lakers losing in the long run.

Posted from my mobile so if your on a computer remove the m. Basically it's Dwight coming back at comments about being hurt including "Kobe is not a doctor"

Sign and trade in the off season perhaps?

I think Howard is gone. Just watched the Boston replay. Howard will check out first chance he gets.

As for the Celtics loss, Kobe had 27 points and 0 assists. We are going to lose more often than not when Kobe plays like that. Granted, he had little alternatives and perhaps was "forced" to play this way against a Celtics team that outmatched the LA Lakers in every facet.

Miami would be winning regardless, but wow they've had some dodgy calls go their way.

Loved it. From what I've read and heard about LeBron, this is who he is. Teammates love him and he is just a big kid who loves the game of basketball. It's a privilege to be able to have watched this "once in a lifetime" player from start to finish. I still remember sitting down to ESPN watching this feature on a "HS Superstar". It was unbelievable to watch the hoop-la he was creating even then.

I missed the start of Michael Jordan's career, I've been blessed to catch Kobe, Shaq, Wade, KG, Duncan, LeBron and Durant start out. In time, "Australia's own" Kyrie Irving I hope joins this list. BIG fan here as I'm sure most of us are on this forum.

I started following the NBA because of Lebron. I was 12 years old when just him as a draft prospect made the news here, and that never happened. So I knew that early that he was something special.

And he's made another record:

@SportsCenter LeBron James just tied an NBA record, scoring 30+ points with 60% or better in 5 straight games (M. Malone, Dantley). Averages: 31 PPG, 71%

MVP, Finals MVP and Olympic Gold medallist last year. And it's silly how much better he's become this year.

LeBron is going to be a top five all-time NBA player when he retires. It's just a matter of how high in the top five he rises. There has been no player that posesses the complete package like LeBron, the guy is an out and out beast. The ring he won last year has unleashed a better basketball player who is playing with out the pressure of not getting the job done. Miami are the team to beat and he is main reason as to why.
