Kobe admitted that was the luckiest shot he has ever taken but it was awesome when i saw it go in, i just jumped off the couch and started going nuts lol.

And Lebron's dancing yesterday was just stupid. Before the game its all good but to do it that bad during a game, while on the court and just acting like a clown and then getting the sh!ts when someone calls him out, he needs to grow up.

Blazers? Oden carried off on stretcher

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP)?Portland center Greg Oden(notes) was taken off the court on a stretcher after an apparent knee injury in the first quarter of the Trail Blazers? game against the Houston Rockets on Saturday night.
Oden dropped to the floor clutching his left knee after colliding with a driving Aaron Brooks(notes) with 5:45 remaining in the first quarter.

Oden stayed on the ground for about 5 minutes while being attended to by trainers. He never stood up under his own power before being carted off.
The No. 1 pick in the 2007 NBA draft, Oden missed the entire 2007-08 season after undergoing microfracture surgery on his right knee. The 7-footer is averaging 11.7 points and 8.8 rebounds this season.

Given his history with knee injuries, this is a bit worrying.

Blazers? Oden expected to miss rest of season

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP)?Portland center Greg Oden(notes) will likely miss the rest of the season after fracturing his left knee cap against Houston on Saturday night.
Oden will undergo surgery, the Trail Blazers said.

The 7-foot center dropped to the floor clutching his left knee and grimacing after colliding with a driving Aaron Brooks(notes) midway through the first quarter.
He was almost immediately surrounded by trainers and physicians. The crowd at the Rose Garden stood and chanted ?Oden! Oden!?
The game was stopped for some 7 minutes. Finally, Oden was gently moved to a stretcher and wheeled from the court. He underwent an MRI shortly thereafter.
?I?m obviously disappointed having worked so hard to get to where I was. This is a setback but I?ll be back. It?s in God?s hands now,? the statement said. ?I want to thank the fans, my teammates and everyone in the Blazers family for all of their good thoughts.?
Oden, the No. 1 pick in the 2007 NBA draft out of Ohio State, has been plagued by injures for his entire NBA career.
The 7-footer missed rookie season after undergoing microfracture surgery on his right knee. Last season, Oden sat out six games after injuring his right foot in the season opener against the Lakers, then missed 14 games after the All-Star break with a bone chip in his left knee. He finished the season averaging 8.9 points and 7 rebounds.
Oden lost weight during the offseason and was averaging 11.7 points and 8.8 rebounds this season as a starter.
The Blazers have been beset by injuries. Starting forward Nicolas Batum(notes) needed shoulder surgery just before the opener. Fellow forward Travis Outlaw(notes) fractured his foot in mid-November and required surgery.
Forward Rudy Fernandez(notes) was out of Saturday night?s game with sciatic pain and set to undergo an MRI. It was uncertain if he would be with the team on an upcoming four-game road trip starting with the Knicks on Monday.
Even coach Nate McMillan was set to undergo surgery Monday after rupturing his right Achilles? tendon during practice.
The coach was participating in practice because the team is so short-handed. He will miss the team?s upcoming road trip, replaced by assistant coach Dean Demopoulos.

Wow that sucks hard. Poor dude just can't stay on the court.

It's early but the Bowie-Jordan and Oden-Durant comparison's are only going to strenghten after this.

Disappointing end for Philly, they started so well. AI was solid and will obviously need a few games and his favourite thing, PRACTICE before he finds some solid form but he did put up 11/6/5 on 4-11 shooting which isn't a bad way to start.

Yeah they struggled big time in the 4th quarter. A.I was decent, didn't try to jack up shots. He's admitted that his conditioning is not up to his usual standards so it might take a couple of weeks or so for him to get back.

What will really be interesting is to see what happens when Lou comes back from injury. Does either A.I or Lou go to the bench, or do they try to play Lou and A.I in the same back court.

Speaking of Lebron I did get a chuckle out of Noah trash talking to him after he got fed up with all the dancing that Lebron was doing.

Seemed to me that Noah was just pissy that they were down by 19 and mouthed off in frustration.

It's American sport FFS, egos come with the territory

To Memphis?

Its a bit of a hole mate. My advise is to go and see Gracelands and maybe Sun Studios then get the f**k out.

They've played twice as many road games as they have home games, maybe all the travelling is just catching up to them? Things might improve once they play at home more often.

On the contrary, LA have played 15 home games and only 4 road games. Will be interesting to see how they go when aren't playing nearly every game in their own house.

Be interesting to see whether VDN keeps his job after the Bulls were thrashed by the Hawks today.....no desire or effort, surely the writing is on the wall.

the bulls have got quite a few injuries, don't they?
Not so many that they should lose to the team with the worst record (Nets), at home, then lose that badly to the Hawks the next night. Admittedly it was the second game of a back to back but they've now lost 4 straight, and 9 of their last 10, with all but two of those loses by double-digits.

noa needs to step up or get punted.

maybe instead of talking shiit on the sidelines, he should get on the court and play some ball.
