Kobe had one of those it's his world and we can only watch. 42 pts and carrying the Lakers. Bulls were good. made a contest of it but obviously not enough.

I just saw the best game of basketball in my life. Bucks and Lakers went at it for 48 mins plus overtime. Just seeing Kobe demolish 2 teams in 2 nights is something special. His game winning buzzer beater was just awesome. The atmosphere was just rocking all night.

Good result but again I'm worried at the shots Kobe is taking when the game is on the line. Remember he did brick a potential game winner at the end of regulation. I guess they are going in atm so I shouldn't be worrying but you can't keep hitting contested fadeaway long two pointers. %'s say so.

Plus he really got bailed out on that "3 point play" on Bogut. That looked ugly.

Knicks just fell apart in the 4th. They manhandled the Bulls in the 1st and then just let go. Bulls on the other hand were just a rabble until Hinrich came on. To me he seems to have more control over the offence than Rose. In the 1st Rose just tried too hard. Too many bad shots etc. He's an excellent player but too immature atm imo.

Celtics dominated Minnesota as expected but I have to say if you have any interest in the history of the Celtics, Bruins or the original Garden get club seating if you go to a game. The whole Premium/club area is a huge museum with original pieces of the Garden like orginal seats and part of the floor and heaps of memrobilia.
Oh and they had this contest where someone has to pick the Celtic that can name all of Santas reindeer. They guess the one that can they win a prize you know the sort of thing. Anyway this guy picks Rajon Rondo. "Um Rudolph um his cousin, biscuit I think, boozer, um did I say Rudolph?"
Scalabrine has a huge cult following as well. After working up a sweat giving high fives to everyone coming back to the bench he finally got some playing time. Everytime he got the ball everyone in the Garden is screaming at him to shoot the ball and a huge groan when he pases the ball. He finally put up a shot and the crowd went nuts even though he missed it badly.

How about the Bulls giving up a 35 pt lead at home to the Kings, what a joke.

Knicks are a good team but they don't know how to put a team to the sword. Last night they blew a 22 pt lead to Chicago just like a few days ago in Chicago. This time they won but only just. Entertaining team to watch though.

LOL Nets. Absolutly useless. No set plays just pass it around shoot and hope. Jawai made himself useful. 2 pts and 1 rebound. It was an absolute ghost town at Izod Center. If they post more than 5K at the game they are lying.

It was a very ordinary game to watch this morning, not just because Dwight was so, so ineffective.

I was hopeful that the off-season trades would improve the Magic, but there is obviously a lot of "clicking" to do before they have any fluidity in attack. Initially I wasn't a huge fan of Carter, but I enjoyed the addition of Ryan Anderson. I just wish the guy would be more selective with his three's.

Carter had a good game today, but when Nelson, Howard and Lewis are all diabolical offensively in the first half (and only Lewis woke up from this slumber), you're not going to win ball games. I know the Magic think 3-shooting is their strength, but when you manage to bring the game back to within 6 points, there really isn't a huge advantage in coming down the court and jacking up back to back bricks. Because suddenly Rondo makes it a 10-point game again and you're stuck there going "wow, Jameer...have you forgotten how to a) shoot a three and b) pass the f*cking ball?!".

Eh, I dunno. Magic took a few steps back today I though. Very scrappy. No enthusiasm. No hustle.

Damn the Cavs were good today, the whole team contributed and they dominated the Lakers at The Staples Center. LA were woeful. The bench in particular offered nothing and their FG % was horrible. Nothing was dropping.

King LeBron - it wasn't his most dominant performance but it's scary how good this guy is. Scary. The leadership qualities, the passing game, the ability to score from anywhere on the court. As Mark Jackson said, if he played in the low post more, no one could stop him. No one. He at times man handled Artest. And Artest is a big strong man, as physical as any defender to have played in the NBA.

An absolute privledge to be able to say we have watched him from the time he was rookie until he career finishes. I truly believe he will be challenging MJ when all is said and done for The Greatest tag.

Have to laugh at the so called Lakers fans. Poor diddums had their 5th loss.

Anyway xmas day was awesome. Heat put their foot down when they needed to and the Knicks just couldnt keep up. Again they play very well in patches but then fall away.

Nets played better last night but again the Rockets wern't really trying. Andersen played well in the time he got. 8 or so points and a few rebounds. Didn't do much wrong on defence. If the Nets had a star they would have won the 2 games I saw easily. They just don't have any strike power. Yi and Harris try but they are not game winners.

Mo Williams has really stepped it up this year. He is so fast on the dribble and will take on anyone to get to the hoop but the best thing about his game is his vision.

The whole Cavs team stood up in that game, great to see given the "give it to Lebron" attitude of the past.

What the f**k was wrong with the Lakers? They were all passengers on the Kobe train
